A group of blacks sued the Waffle House chain Tuesday, claiming they were discriminated against at restaurants in three Georgia cities. The Georgia lawsuit joins three others recently filed in North Carolina, Alabama and Virginia against the Norcross, Ga.-based company and its franchisees, who are accused of maintaining a pattern of discrimination and violating federal civil rights laws (search). The Plaintiffs in the cases allege that Servers used racial epithets, refused to wait on minority patrons, provided them with slow service and poor quality food while providing whites with prompt service and quality food. Wafflehouse spokesman Pat Warner has pointed out two previous lawsuits in South Carolina and North Carolina where both Juries found in favor of Wafflehouse to demonstrate that "Waffle House Inc. has no tolerance for discrimination in our restaurants, and we react swiftly and decisively if we find a violation of our anti-discrimination policies," .

Oh Come On...change the headline back.
Now your waffling
Wafflehouse here has added a new item to the menu: cholesterol IV for those who want to cut out the middle man.
This must really be an extremely slow news day..........
Those were the days.
I have a biased opinion against biasites who invent bias where no bias exists.
I changed your title to the one at the source. Please use original titles.
Thanks.
Is the Wafflehouse making this much money? Maybe I should buy some stock...
I was gonna sue Wafflehouse, but I kept changing my mind.
Wisecrack? What wisecrack?
I remember 5-cent hamburgers one Sunday, probably sometime around 1968. Dad brought home a big bag full of 'em. Regular price was probably 15 or 20 cents.
The last time I was in Wafflehouse, the food was poor and the service was nothing to write home about. I'm pretty sure it was due to my having blondish-brown hair. I'm sick of this kind of treatment. Any other blondish-brown-haired folks out there who've had similar frightening experiences at Wafflehouse who might want to join in a class action suit?
Wisecrack, dig, pun, joke, ... whatever. ;O)
In truly free country, the plaintiffs would simply go to another restaurant and tell their friends and associates of the lousy service at the Waffle House in question and government wouldn't be involved in this nonsense.
I stop at Wafflehouse once in a while. The food is cooked right there in front of you, Its not like they go in the kitchen and spit in it. You can see for yourself you get the same food everyone else gets.
People who file stupid suits like this need to be jailed for taking up the courts time.
Just last week as I was eating at a Waffle House outside Richmond the only thing I didnt like was this black guy trying to eat and talk loudly on his cell phone. Like I wanted to hear what this butthead had to say.I have Never seen anything like the story in the times I have been at waffle House.
By the way I wouldnt eat supper there , but for breakfast its hard to beat.Fast and like I say you watch them cook it.
I'm pretty sure these suits are frivolous (the systematic ("maintaining a pattern of discrimination") claims, at least)
anyway: BC ping
LOL... Waffle House? If only these people could live in a white person's shoes for one day, they'd learn that everyone gets treated like crap somewhere.
