Sounds like the Justice Dept. struck this plea deal in their quest for bigger fish, hopefully a French financial fish!
Looks like Marc Rich will be going back on the lam.
"Looks like Marc Rich will be going back on the lam."
He'll have to go back on the lam......at least until Hillary's election in 2008. /sarcasm
Wow. I wonder which rock Marc Rich is gonna hide under? Wanna bet it smells like french whine? What? No bet? I wonder, does the pardon that he got cover his arse for any time AFTER Olde Billy left office? The scheme was continuing, so it seems to me that Marc is back on the menu... Roquefort with that salad Messur Rich?
Let's get Rich!
Excellent point! I had not known of the connection with Ms. Notbright. All the pieces fit now! Thanks!
Too bad Billy didn't sign one of those little get out of jail free cards for himself eh? Or should he have done one for Hillary?
Man, it would be AWESOME to see TEFLON BUBBA and HITLARY get roasted! Seeing them go to jail would make this CENTURY for me! Of course, it'll never happen but what are fantasies for!? haha.
What is the connection between Not so Bright an Marc Rich?
In a way, it's a perfect scandal. The investigation doesn't involve the media's golden child, Bill Clinton, so the length of time and the expense involved won't be raised as a phony issue. It'll simmer into 2006, at least, and will still be sufficiently fresh in everyone's minds in 2008.
Republican presidential candidates won't be successful if they aspire to closer relations and consultations with our allies and UN, and won't have to bring it up at all if they plan to stay the course (US sovereignty and national interests, spread of democracy).
The UN itself was put on notice a couple of years ago that the US wasn't going to be taking any more of its ****. The disgrace and downfall of Kofi Annan, however long it takes to unfold, will reinforce that. Either the UN cleans up its act, or it continues to be irrelevant, or it resumes an openly hostile attitude. Any of those three courses reinforces US resolve and helps the Republican presidential candidate in 2008.
The Lemmings will of course vote for the (so-called) Democrat candidate, no matter who it is and what she, oops, he or she espouses.
Does that mean that his wife will be free to give bent willie klintoon a BJ witout the worry of getting caught?
Hmmmmm.....developing and extremely interesting....
To Kofi Annan with love,Bart
I can't wait to see Kofi in cuffs .....
I give this guy a week before he commits Arkancide...err suicide.

Poor guy! :^O
One of the greatest things President Bush did recently that DIDN'T get much media attention was this: he mounted the tsunami aid effort with NO UN assistance, no cooperation with the UN, and no comment to the UN.
Heh-heh...
The UN might as well not exist.
