We're going to see lots of misdiagnoses because of diseases turning up that just plain aren't supposed to happen in the first world.

Phooey, there are a good 50,000 houses going up in every direction all around me--all wood framed. And nearly all by Mexican labor. You can bet a large chunk of which is illegal.
So using your logic all those houses should be bulldozed, and damn the families that may want to have their part of the American dream.

No hired worker every works on or in my house before I have proof they have workers comp and insurance. A homewoner in my hometown was sued for 2 million and lost because the worker he hired was hurt on the job at this guys house. The worker had no WC or insurance so it went back right onto the homeowner. My insurnace agent cringes whenver he hears of someone hiring somone without wc.
In this day and age of lawsuits I can't imagine you putting yourself into this possible situation

My brother just built a house and 70% of the workers were hispanic who worked for American owners. They have lowered down the wages to 8-9.00 hour from $12-15.00

Actually not. I built a house a few years ago with all legal american labor. He is the one that is "catching" up to me.

My argument was in response to his/her last post which stated framers were becoming obsolete due to different building practices.
But, yes, I do believe those framing jobs should be reserved for American citizens. Call me crazy.
