an optional war in Iraq"I thought he said that. Thanks. Says we need to act with humility and our motives are suspect in the Muslim world. Clearly, he does not understand the Muslim world if he thinks diplomacy wiill change that.

Biden says, with a hint of regret in his voice, "We pay a price for snoozing the alarm clock in the morning."

Basically Biden talking about the challenges facing a Secretary of State in the world and the perception other countries have of us.

Biden says Osama bin Ladin has a higher approval rating than President Bush........IN IRAQ. Not only do I not believe that, I don't remember any polls there to come to this conclusion. Does anyone....other than dems...believe this?

Biden now wants to assign a "mission" to Condi. I thought his job was to vote on her getting the post, not to assign duties. Where in the Constitution does a Senator get to assign duties to a cabinet member?
To: cyncooper
I shudder to think that if Kerry were elected, Biden could quite possibly have been Secretary of State. Ungh!
To: kevkrom
Condi's got that really annoyed look on her face...she's not the only one!

What's wrong w/Biden...sounds out of breath? Missed his train and almost missed his chance to bloviate.
He could win the gold medal, just make sure there is a TV camera at the finish line.

"bin Laden has a higher approval rating than President Bush and America as a whole." Great statement. This proves that the world is wrong and the problem is with them not us. There is no reasoning with a world that likes bin laden more than Bush.
