I get flamed on a regular basis for trying to defend people whom I know to be moderate Muslims, but this isn't brain surgery people.
I never watched the show before, but I watched this seasons episodes and loved them. I always thought Keifer Sutherland was a typical Hollywierd lib, so I stayed away from the show. Could have been the promos that hooked me, I don't know, but I can't wait for the finale tonight.
Every day muslim families arent just suspects, they are the enemy. Daddy, mommy little Abdul and Abdula are on the other side in the war against Islam.
I can see why the Muslims are upset but the fact of the matter is that this is a realistic scenario. Far from being an unfair depiction how do we know there are not sleeper cells like this already in place? I think there are.
This organization may not like how this is portrayed but this is the reality we live in and this is who the enemy is. I don't see much difference in this than the situation we had with the Japanese in W.W.II. It was terrible and unfortunate but the spies were there and so were the sleeper cells.
The ideology at the heart of CAIR is anathema to our Constitution and our Republic.
Islam is a political ideology above all else...one that rests on the destruction of everybody and everything else.
We should no more put up with it than we put up with the other ideologies that killed hundreds of million, and enslaved billions, in the last century: Communism and Fascism.
Every elected official, every military man and woman, takes an oath to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC.
CAIR and all who give them a bit of credibility are domestic enemies. Who in their right mind can doubt it?
More "America Sucks" implications. Perhaps in the light of 9/11 and the beheadings in Iraq - and what their religion says about 'killing the infidel' - perhaps they need to seek OUR favor.
