About the only thing happening in Iraq that I have seen recently is two occasions that snipers have taken out 7 terrorists each. One was by the 1st Calvary Division -- the other by an Arkansas National Guard Unit.
I am praying that our troops have found cozy sniper positions throughout Iraq and Predators aircraftare flying 24 hours a day -- looking for terrorists.
The elections are coming up shortly -- yet the terrorists seem to be very impotent. Another factor appears to be the God factor -- the tsunami has shown that the US Military is going above and beyond to help Islamic victims of the disaster. This may be aiding the United States at a critical time in Iraq.
Perhaps there was a INTEL bonanza when a terrorist cell was broken up -- with lots of materials for car bombings -- C4, artillery shells for roadside bombs, etc.
Of course, the above news is not news to the Moronic Stream Media [or is it the Main Stream Morons -- I get confused].
Our troops are very frustrated with the L/MSM and I don't blame them.
Maybe there should be a National Campaign to Bash the Media -- in support of our troops.
bttt
Too bad they are always dead before hearing the shot.
"praying that our troops have found cozy sniper positions "
May all thier rounds land in the 10 ring.....Amen
If it wasn't for bad news they wouldn't have no news at all. (reminds me of a song)
Thank you for this posting. I know that after/during the Vietnam War, the use of an ENEMY BODYCOUNT became tabooed, but I have serious issues with the media only reporting OUR casualties and rarely if ever the enemies. It makes it sound like our soldiers are just standing around as bait, rather than taking the fight to the enemy which they do so effectively.

We should have just severly wounded all 7 and watched to see where they craweled off to hide.

"Born Under a Bad Sign"
Just keep killing them. Thats all we gotta do. Just keep killing them. Less and less of them every day.
You got it! Cream about 1969. (Eric Clapton)
Only good news from Iraq this weekend?
Marine Killed in Action South of Baghdad
Sat Jan 15, 1:13 PM ET
BAGHDAD, Iraq - A U.S. Marine was killed in action Saturday south of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.
The killing occurred in Babil province part of an area known as the "Triangle of Death" for insurgent attacks on U.S.- and Iraqi-led forces.
The military gave no details of the death, which brings the number of American troops killed in Iraqi since the March 2003 invasion to at least 1,360.
It was an Albert King song that Cream covered on "Wheels of Fire" in 1968. Great song.
Why don't they keep a running toll of how many terrorists have been killed? We all know the answer to that question.
Maybe I am too dependent on Freerepublic for accurate news.
I am not trying to avoid any bad news.
A Lt Col had an article posted on Freerepublic about how Americans are killed, but the fact quite a few terrorists are killed at the same time is not posted.
For example, with the two sniper incidents, one American was injured slightly. 14 terrorists were killed and in one case, three terrorists got away -- 7 out of 10 killed.
Great news!
I bow to your knowledge!
Love to all our friends in America and elsewhere: You shall be proud of the Iraqi people, your grateful friends.
This Iraqi was very down about all the professional people in Iraq being the targets of terrorists -- as well as Iraqi officials. This person had very bad words for the terrorists -- I believe calling them animals.
A side of Iraq that one will not hear on CBS Evening News or NBC Nightly News...
You gave me a horrible idea -- made a terrible shot -- into the groin. Then the poor person will have a terrible time with 72 Virgins -- the 72 will still have their virginity.
[I guess I should be ashamed of suggesting such a shot...]
I beg to differ. In Fallujah Marine sniper(s) were so close I think they powder burned some of the a__holes.
