Carville: Democrats Should Resist Bush's 'Dangerous Second-Term Agenda'
By Jimmy Moore Talon News January 14, 2005
Democratic strategist James Carville is asking for a commitment from one million activists to "stand strong in the face of Republican" initiatives in 2005 to counter President George W. Bush's "bullying political tactics and his dangerous second-term agenda."
In an e-mail to Democratic supporters on Thursday, Carville said he is looking at this new year and decided to have "a fighting spirit" to counter the "Republicans' malarkey."
Carville said Republicans want people to think the recent presidential election was about a mandate from the American people.
"President Bush has already made plain what he means by 'cooperation,'" Carville quipped in the e-mail. "He tells us what to do and we're supposed to cooperate."
He added, "So now, it's time to tell the President what we think of his bullying political tactics and his dangerous second-term agenda."
To that end, Carville suggests to Democratic supporters that they need one million people to pledge their commitment to the Democratic Party before Bush's inauguration on January 20, 2005.
"Be one of the million who stepped forward. Act right now," Carville pleaded.

he needs a vacation........Nah, he needs to keep up the good work. We should all chip in and give him a vacation to North Korea after the 2008 elections, in appreciation of all the good he's done the GOP this century.

Good. They still don't get it.
Is it too soon to start calculating which RAT Senators' hopes for re-election are most Daschle-able?

Your post is oxymoronic, at best. Most people will just ignore it, as I should have. But, I just couldn't resist letting you know that people are smarter than you think. You will not fool them with such nonsense, unless they are, of course, listeners of Michael Savage..........

I agree with him.
1) They need to try and block everything he tries to do.
2) They need to get out in the streets and throw up on cars and sidewalks and stall traffic all over the country.
3) They need to continue to investigate vote fraud as an obsession and passion for the next four years.
4) They need to continue to call Kerry "President Kerry" when they speak.
5) They need to take off their clothes and protest naked by spelling out words in the snow.
6) They need to start throwing themselves in front of moving Army convoys at the last second.
7) They need to all wear blue paper clips on their collars and blue wristbands and turn their backs on Bush every time they see him.
8) They need to hold the world's largest gay marriage parade...Iowa and Minnesota would be good locations.
9) They need to paint more pictures of Bush as a chimp.
10) They need to try and oppose Bush's Guantanamo policies by getting everyone their released back to Pakistan with a hundred dollars and a rifle for their trouble.
11) They need to have Sean Penn, Whoopi, Barbra, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Janeane Garafolo, Michael Moore, and Al Franken all tour rural America telling them how wrong they are.
12) They need to get the Dixie Chicks to go on a musical tour of the same areas playing nothing but Steve Earle songs and cussing out Toby Keith.
13) They need to get Bill Clinton and P. Diddy to do some public service spots together explaining "values".
14) They need to let the DUmmies select the party leadership since they are obviously the most capable of picking out those best qualified to oppose Bush.
15) And finally, they need to put Carville on tv 24 hours a day.
I think that would do it for them. Give me some time and I can think of even more.

Carville said he is looking at this new year and decided to have "a fighting spirit" to counter the "Republicans' malarkey."Don't the leftist 'survivors' have enough loot to cover all those they're concerned about?
It maybe time to tax RATS at a higher level than everyone else. We can call it "progressive"...

I agree, I think the Dems should run him for Pres in 2008. The venom is so much stronger when it comes from the snakes mouth, rather than when he and Paul Begala feed it through some talking head(s).
He's still riding the wave from when he took so much credit for Perot splitting the conservative vote and "he who shall not be named" getting elected.
