DAVISON, Mich. - Oscar on the shelf or not, Michael Moore is not getting much respect at his old high school. Despite his fame and many honors, the filmmaker has been rejected all four times that he has been nominated for Davison High School's Hall of Fame.

I, for one, am glad.
Michael Moore is not a cultural icon (as much as the left wants him to be) and he definitely can't be considered a serious film-maker.
He's a malcontent with visions of self-grandeur.
Someone with those qualities should never be on any Hall Of Fame list.

A public school with standards. What a refreshing change.
Moore proof that Hollywood is out of touch with the real world. Outer Limits out of touch. Hollywood is losing money because they forgot that capitalist axiom : know thine customer base.

His Hall of Fame is his monthly bank (or brokerage) statement. But I am sure Michael Moore feels acute embarrassment on his way to the bank and back every time he goes there.
