LOL! I have seen Japanese tourists taking pictures of the light fixtures imbedded in the floor at the U.S.S Arizona memorial. I have also had some ask to take pictures of our oldest daughter when she was a baby.
When I was in South Korea, I was taking a walk up Namsan and had some Korean tourists approach me and ask if they could have their picture taken with me. I have no idea why or if perhaps they thought I was someone famous. Or maybe they were from a rural area and had never seen a caucasian woman in person before, who knows. I was with my boss and they didn't want his picture at all.
Probably gathering intelligence for their second wave attack on pearl harbor.
