He is nothing but a spoiled welp. If I was that stupid, even if drunk and caught on film, I'd be hung out to dry.

Totally agree. Yep it was stupid, but to keep harping on it...give me a break.

"Die Welt said "this is a scandal, not a slip by an insensitive prince who, as is well-known, is not exactly regarded as an intellectual giant of his generation."

Why couldn't it have been a "slip up"? Afterall, Harry "is not exactly regarded as an intellectual giant". His sentence doesn't make sense which only brings one to the conclusion that these sharks aren't going to let up when they smell blood...

The press will once again test their ability to ruin people.

This is not about just an apology, they want every member of the royal family to grovel and cry before the cameras.

Kinda reminds me of how the media treated Trent Lott for his remarks at Strom's birthday bash.

What if he had dressed up as Stalin? How about Mao? Would the reaction have been as vociferous? I doubt it. There is no doubt that people should remember what the genocidal Nazis did in WWII, but this reaction is ridiculous and belittles the memory of all those who were murdered. He was at a private costume party. He wasn't at a rally and he wasn't speaking sympathetically. Let the idiot be.

Didn't this hear this much fuss over the Rev Jackson's "hymie-town" remarks.

You have to ask yourself this question...a costume shop goes out and has a Nazi uniform for rent...who would rent it? I can't think of a single person I know...that would rent the thing. Now, if you had a gorilla outfit, or a pirate outfit, or a Santa Claus suit...then maybe...but a Nazi outfit? I won't blame this kid...he had to have handlers behind him each day...and they should have advised him of the stupid situation.

I think the kid ought to be packed up and sent off to a ranch in southern Colorado for four years...and let him mature out of public sight. Thats the best way for a guy like him to get life-smart.

Frankly, I'm more disturbed about the kind of upper-class British twits who would throw a "Colonials and Natives" party with one side of the room decorated in white and the other in black. This whole sorry scenario needs to be a Monty Python sketch.

He was stupid. Not a good move for someone like him.

He also never asked to be in the spotlight that he is.

The context of what really happened is neglected.

The media typically goes on a frenzy about things like this. They're hyenas.

He needs to give no statement. No one can demand this of him. Besides, what did he really do wrong? What law did he break? Accuse him of bad taste and poor judgement, nothing else.

I agree. The fact is that he is an idiot and so is whoever handles him. He should have known the uproar that he would cause. That still doesn't justify government leaders demanding apologies and and insisting that he go to Auschwitz. Is he an idiot? yes. Is he antisemitic? I don't know. The world press and governments are wasting their energy and resources with this.

Well here is my 2 cents...I think both Wills and Harry should go visit these sites, not to get a yelling at but to get an education from these people who have been there and know the horrors of WW II. These two royals are no longer "boys" and being the sons of the admired Princess Diana, will not buy them sympathy any longer nor should it.

On the other hand, look who they have to look to for example. Their father is shacking up in the Queen Mum's former home with a woman who made any effort for his marriage to Diana to be successful an effort in futility.
