Quite a few people I speak to on FR are libertarians.
My experience here has been that those who claim FR is a borg like collective of right wing zombies have never been here themselves or they were here and posted a trolling article looking to get flamed.

The last time I saw the stats as a group Gays had the highest educational level and the highest income level of any so called "oppressed group".

Funny, I've never noticed this. I routinely post pro-choice comments, pro-gay comments, get-the-government-out-of-marriage comments, fact corrections re IVF/stem cell research/morning-after pills/RU-486, and even posted directly to JimRob that I thought he was dead wrong to support Alan Keyes. But somehow my posts don't get deleted. Makes me wonder what Mr. Bostock's idea of "alternative perspective" and "correct facts" is.

This dork criticizes this site for allowing supposedly racist posts, but also criticizes the site for not allowing free speech.

In reality, he is just arguing that if it were his site, he would regulate free speech differently.

Free Republic states up front that the opinions expressed are those of the posters, not Free Republic and also states that this is a site for the exchange of conservative ideas. At least he admits that it is a blast to read. No doubt this article will bring out the trolls, but any publicity is good publicity.
