One last thing: the most cold blooded aspect of this show is the photographs of little kids of these families, and not one word about how these kids are reacting to the fact that Dad is now 'gay'. Not one word about how they are getting hurt.
Now, THAT might hurt ratings, right Oprah? You and your ABC handlers ... abc and oprah spell corruption.

Well, Johnny bin Lindh is one kid who reacted strongly to his father 'coming out'. Although you never heard that mentioned much by the MSM.

This show is an example of why our nation is utterly a mess at the hands...
You are watching and complaining about what you are watching at the same time. Un-frickin-believable. Stop watching the damn thing! If no one watched, they would go out of business.

I've often wondered if Stedman was using Oprah to cover his own preferences.

I was, and am, willing to respect Oprah Winfrey for her business acumen. Anyone who can get where she is from where she came from knows how to overcome adversity.
But I heard her say something one day that completely drained any respect or consideration I had for her.
She thinks the family is obsolete, and said so in a statement I am at a loss to remember exactly. It is typical socialist "it takes a village" claptrap. For someone in her position to advocate that is just plain wrong.
And I'm sorry...I know she did some nice things for the families of some of the troops, but I just cannot accept a concilation with her world view and her gift giving for some of the families of the troops. In my opinion, all PR.

Oprah's Book Club always chose books in which women had miserable lives and were victims of the universe.
She's a sick and unhappy woman, IMO.

I don't get Oprah's appeal, and why she's been on so long. I work with people who have to rush home from work so they can catch her show.
I've read about her life story and it's pretty interesting, though. She's a very intelligent woman.

Hmmph - that IS news to me.... Sort of like the DC sniper Malvano and the boy he kept w/ him, yes? (For you sure don't here much about that either from the MSM). BTW, source on Lindh's Dad?

Balderdash. There are no such reputable studies.
