Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif received on Wednesday John Kerry, the US Senator and former presidential hopeful.
In statement following the meeting, Kerry, currently visiting Egypt as part of his tour of the Middle East, said the meeting with Nazif dealt with Egyptian efforts in the fields of economy, trade and technology, as well as developments in the Middle East and Iraq.
For his part, Cabinet spokesman Magdi Radi said that Nazif reviewed with Kerry economic reforms which were being carried out by the Egyptian government.
During the meeting, Nazif highlighted the legitimate Palestinian rights and the US role in helping resume Palestinian- Israeli peace negotiations.
Meantime, Kerry admitted that the US committed terrible mistakes in Iraq. During a meeting on Wednesday with grand Imam of Al Azhar Mohamad Sayed Tantawi, Kerry regretted the difficult conditions in Iraq.
The Grand Imam urged all Iraqis to take part in the coming elections to be held on January 30. On his part, Kerry appreciated Al Azhar's prestigious position all over the world, pointing out that there was a common ground between Islam and Christianity.
I have some news for you. If you are capable of high intellectual thought you already have the answers so whats all this about questioning things. The answers are obvious to the educated but not to you blind , questioning and intellectually dishonest libs!
Great post! Excellent!
You have it wrong on all sides. When did Bush say a person is unpatriotic for not supporting the Patriot Act or against freedom for not supporting the Iraq war. When I hear liberals whining over "lost rights" I ask, "well what rights have you lost". I am still waiting for an answer. When I ask liberals what they would support in the place of the Patriot Act to fight terrorism in this country I do not get an answer. Blindly attacking Bush because it is the "hip thing" to do is not the same as questioning the world around you. If you liberals have a better way then lets hear it. If you liberals have a better way of tracking down terrorist cells lets hear it. If you liberals had/have a better way of containing Saddam, Iran nukes, Hamas, WMDs in Syria, UN Corruption lets hear it. If you liberals had a better way of preventing 9/11 or the next 9/11 lets hear it. Otherwise it is you who are full of s**t.
He's been doing this good cop act since Vietnam. I think he's a spook in addition to a Senator. Or at least he used to be one. His forays into Nicaragua during the 80's stinks of a good cop spook act.
This is EXACTLY why the Swift Boat Veterans story MUST come out and stay front and center
The MSM especially CBS should be pressured into giving them FULL coverage
Bye, Liberal Loser!He's dead, Jim!
I would guess he was safe enough in the war zone as our enemies appreciate him being their spokesman. A wonder they did not hold a parade for him
All I can think of as I read this post is that old cartoon. drizzel, drazzel, drizzle, drone, time for this one to come home. Ok it was something like that.
He's DEAD, Jim!
