Kerry chides U.S. Mideast policy

CAIRO (Reuters) - Middle East countries are frustrated by U.S. policy in Iraq and feel too little is being done to end violence there, U.S. Senator John Kerry has said on a visit to the region. Kerry repeatedly criticised the Bush administration's Iraq policy during his failed bid to win the U.S. presidency from George W. Bush, who led the invasion to topple Saddam Hussein.

"All of the countries of the region have a significant stake in the outcome and yet they are frustrated," Kerry said in Cairo after talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

"They are frustrated because they don't feel that the steps necessary to be able to advance the stability of Iraq are really being taken," he said.

Kerry, who also met officials in Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq and Israel, said Washington should do more to build up Iraqi security forces, which are often attacked by rebels fighting U.S.-led forces and the interim Iraqi government.

"We could be and we should be doing a very significant amount more military training," he said.

Kerry doing what he does best. Demeaning his own country and the Bush administration.

I'll bet he has a plan though.

Kerry should keep his chides for the top of his potatoes, along with his sour cream.
He is such a useless sack of crap.

Who is this John Kerry and why does he think he is Secretary of State? You would think he won an election or something. Is he going to set up a shadow administration in Paris or Brussels?

Nothing like cavorting with the enemy, and running our leaders into the ground to boost moral for the country and our military. What a complete POS!!

"Middle East countries are frustrated by U.S. policy in Iraq and feel too little is being done to end violence there"

Sweet Mary and Joseph, tell those countries to stop exporting their thugs to Iraq. Secretly, though, I'll bet most of the leaders in the region are more than happy to export the fringe elements of their society into Iraq and will take either of the two outcomes: the Great Satan is humbled or their fringe gets whacked. It is win-win for them but obviously they cannot state so publically. Instead, they can make nice-nice with John F'n Kerry's shadow administration and give the dolt the sound bites he desires to desperately try to stay "presidential." Sorry, John, all it amounts to is treason. Take your SS agents and go skiing.

First it was the North Vietnamese communists, then it was the Nicaraguan communists, and now it’s Muslim Fundamentalists. If they are an enemy of this country, Kerry will suck up to them.

Why don't we all email Kerry and tell him we (the American people) do not appreciate his attempts to undermine our duly elected President and that we feel his actions are tantamount to treason against the United States of America. He sure has a lot of respect for American's enemies, doesn't he?

"The last thing the middle east wants is a free and democratic Iraq."

Exactly.

The primary reason the Sunni's are claiming that elections should be postponed is the violence. Yet, the violence is being genereated out the Sunni areas. These are the same areas where the insurgents from all of those other countries are being hidden and supported by the local Sunni's. These insurgents are coming from the same countries that Kerry says are complaining about the violence.

Imagine that.
