Just felt a shaker - a bed rattler quake. Rapid shaking, very noticeable but nothing broken, nothing knocked down. But it got us up.

I'm in La Quinta - I felt it very strongly - then about a 10 second rolling motion - what an experience.
Where did you get your info? I reported it on another earthquake site.

Hi, I'm in Hemet and I felt it pretty good. There was the hard "crack" sound of my walls then some shaking. Haven't felt one in quite awhile. My heart was a pounding!
It was about a 3 second shaking motion - then about a 10 second rolling motion - slowly subsiding. No chandaliers here - but how do you know what those quarter machines feel like and what were you doing?
Never mind - we'll keep it our secret...
Remember those beds well as a kid when the family took vacations, staying at Motel 6. Except mom and dad hogged all the quarters.
I need to look at a topo map of CA.
I believe that the salton sea and a vast area lower than sea level is going to fill up from the gulf of California. I just don't know when.
I also think that the area around Palm Springs is in for some . . . interesting rearranging; but I don't know when or precisely what.
Good jolt here in Temecula also. Heard a "swishing noise"...I thought it was one of the kids and went to see. When I laid back down a moment later, it shook. Quick, sharp jolt here. Lasted 7-12 seconds.
William Branham prophesized a similar scenario over 40 years ago. There are many similarities between the Salton Sea and the Dead Sea, in scripture.
Have you been talking to my neighbor. He says the same thing. Is so worried about it he keeps his car parked outside with supplies stored inside it. He keeps warning me.
Did anyone see how many people reported this one and how far it was felt. Check out this page at this link.

343 reports and surprisingly far away.
And now has turned into an excuse for 45 minutes of late night posting on FR! Okay, good night. Lets hope that was it.
Interesting.
I don't know when I first felt that way about Palm Springs.
I went up on the tram probably around 1971-72. I think I may have felt something then--coming down and looking over the area.
But I think there was a later time when I felt it stronger. I forget what triggered it--I think there was another quake in the area or something. And I felt strongly that whatever happened in that quake was nothing compared to what was ahead for the area at some point. I think that's still my feeling. That when whatever have been sensing about comes--it will seriously rearrange at least some major portions of the area.
We shall see.
No, of course, haven't talked to your neighbor! Sounds a bit . . . extra cautious to have stuff stored in his car. Maybe he senses more than the rest of us. Not going to call someone like that a kook. May serve him well at some point.
THX.
Interesting. I don't think I was aware of his comment on the topic.
Ping, I have a been getting chills in my lower gut since the day before the Indian Ocean and again strongly last night walking into our living area.
I have had a deep anguish coming and going coinciding with the word coming to mind earthquakes, huge.
Along with de ja vue wiyh the above.
Ifeel like the other shoe is going to drop.
I pray to God I have my tin foil restricting blood flow.
Usually I am bouncy and energetic for the last several weeks it has been the oppisite.
God help me.
The diff could be the type of ground you each have under you or foundation. JMO
Bjung musta been very young then. : )
I feel strongly that your sense is right.
I just don't know where.
Am pretty concerned about California.
Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Seattle, Alaska . . . all are in hazardous areas.
Don't know what I feel about the East coast. . . . Feels like California and Seattle are more at risk.
Doesn't feel like time for the New Madrid, yet.
What do you sense about area/where?
And when?
I think Hawaiians are too blase and glib about such things, too.
