HILLARY IS MUM ON MONEYMAN'S ARREST
New York Post ^ | 01/12/05 | MICHAEL WARNER

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday refused to answer questions about the indictment last week of her 2000 Senate campaign finance director.

Clinton's former aide, David Rosen, was charged with filing false reports to the Federal Election Commission to cover up the true cost of a lavish Hollywood fund-raiser held on Clinton's behalf Aug. 12, 2000.

When asked about Rosen by reporters at a press conference, Clinton said: "I have nothing to add to the statement that was issued last week."

In that statement, released Friday night, Clinton's lawyer, David Kendall, said the senator's camp believed Rosen would be cleared once "all the facts are in."

Hillary's been awfully quiet about this campaign finance thing. Hopefully, there's more to it than just her aide's actions.

"I have nothing to add to the statement that was issued last week."

And that is the only statement she will make. Nobody will in the MSM will press the issue and that will be it.

He served his purpose. She'll let him hang. She has 4 years for people to forget all about this.

Just once I would like to see a reporter ask Hellary why she feels as though she doesn't have to answer questions??

Especially as serious as this is

Because the press has never demanded that she answer any questions and never will. Just like they didn't demand that John Kerry answer any questions.

If you think Kerry got a pass, wait until Hillary runs for President. The MSM aka Old Media will try to force her down our throats just like they forced her down the throats of NY'ers.

CBS could have spent time on Hillary instead of chasing a story about Bush's guard duties. But, then, they were the same sister company that financed her book deal. And Moonvies was a regular at the sleepovers.

Step 1: "Nothing to add..."

Step 2: "Have no recollection..."

Step 3: "Answered this question previously..."

Step 4: "Really, isn't this old news..."

Step 5: "The American people want us to move on..."

Clintonism in its purest form.

Based on Clinton history, I'd watch my back if I were Rosen. People around the Clinton's don't have a long life expectancy.

Didn't watch Rather Dan tonight, but I'll put down five bucks that he didn't mention a thing about it...
