Tancredo hired a contractor to do work on his house. The contractor was responsible for hiring the workers.

Funny how you can be responsible for all sorts of things that go on in your home, yet when it comes to this robed hero Tancredo, he takes the cowards way out.

Yes, once the (liberal), partisan attack dogs in the mainstream media sunk their teeth into that investigation you just knew that the Republicans would-ultimately-fold.

I'm still incensed over how "Chucka" Schumer-the bane of humanity-was able to use those hearings as yet another cudgel in the arsenal that he deployed against Al D'Amato during his 1998 Senate run.

This Michael Chertoff?

"Chertoff was minority counsel in the first Senate investigation related to the death of Vincent Foster and majority special counsel in the second such Senate investigation. As any open-minded person the least bit familiar with the Foster case can see, it was decided in advance that nothing would come out of either investigation."

"Neither of them, in fact, had the stated purpose of even determining whether or not there was foul play in Foster's death, a fact which has not prevented defenders of the official suicide-from-depression line from representing them as among the "numerous" Foster death investigations that ruled out murder."

"The President is doing fine on the issue of immigration"

That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. How about enforcing existing immigration laws?

The President has a mandate to reform a system that isn't working. Here are his exact words:

""We've got people living in the shadows of our society, and we've got a border patrol that's overstressed because we've got people streaming across," Bush said. "The system has broken down. ... And I think by legalizing work, we take a lot of pressure off our borders." "

Bush needs to close the borders completely before anyone should be considering legalizing the illegals already here.

We have the resources to completely close our borders. We need to close our borders almost completely and deport all violent illegals before I, and most others, will consider doing anything other than deporting and imprisoning the illegals already here.

Some people don't realize this is the biggest threat to out country. Our government must start enforcing our laws or the people must revolt and do it themselves. If one or the other doesn't happen then our Nation will FALL sooner or later.

Chertoff was terrific during the Clinton years, going after Hillary and during the Clinton impeachment. Senate hearings, etc.. Chertoff is the real deal.
