Klayman's "evidence" apparently came from a Judicial Watch client named Peter Paul. Some of it must've come fro Mary.

I remember him from the early days of the Whitewater investigations. I think he will make a very good Sec of HS. And after reading the following synopsis, I'm even more in favor of him. I just saw him on the news a bit ago. I sure hope he feels better then he looks. He doesn't look like normal aging to me.
I liked him in the Whitewater hearings, but he tended to be monotonous when the witness facing him didn't need to be treated like that.

Excellent pick.
He happens to be Jewish, and very pro-Israel. That should get the anti-semitic far Left(black panthers and hippies) and anti-semitic(klansmen and skinheads) far Right in a tizzy.
And that's a good thing.

not to be rude....your screen name says it all....either you are an officer with wyatt earp syndrome or a night watchman who has delusions of becoming an officer of the LAW. how any rational man could find promise in this prospective homeland security sec. ( by the way the term is an oxymoron; as the whitehouse would have us understand it) is beyond me. the man has written papers to basicly have the miranda act repealed; see Chavez v. Martinez and has used his APPOINTED POSITIONS FOR PERSONAL GAIN..1980-1983 Associate, Latham & Watkins
1994-1996 US Special Counsel for Whitewater Committee
1994-2001 Partner, Latham and Watkins.... not to mention he claims to be part of one of the worst pieces of legislation ever framed.... the actual homeland security act being the worst.... you go right ahead and espouse this constitution eater....but know full well he is another taking us one step closer to the jackboots his predecessors have sized us for.

So you mean there's going to be a white male in the cabinet?
Seriously though, I've never heard of the guy, but if the libs hate him, that's good enough for me.

"Thanks, that's good to know. He appears older than stated age." He is. The article stated he is 49-years old. No way. My birthdate is Nov. 29, 1955. I just turned 49 on Nov. 29, 2004. Chertoff"s birthday is stated as Nov. 28, 1953. No way that guy is 49. At least 51 is more like it.
And he does appear a lot older than that on TV. Obviously a mistake has been made by the media. I also heard the same 49 age on Fox news -- plus they stated his birth date. No one caught the mistake.

I thought he was pretty good as the Republican council on D'Amato's Whitewater committee - especially when he asked Hubbel about Lippo and Lasater about Mena To my disappointment, Dan Lasater was the most repentant and forthcoming witness that appeared before the banking committee. He was the only one who appeared to have nothing to hide.

Whoops, it wasn't Atta that was pulled over two days before 9-11, but it looks like he was pulled over prior to that. I remember that....and if our laws were enforced, he would have been deported. 9-11 never would have happened....the ringleader would have been gone.

I happen to think that Sen. D'Amato did a much better job than he is given-retrospectively-credit for.
I thought he did real good job non-retrospectively. Problem is, hardly anybody saw the hearings to get a take on them because MSM didn't want them visible.

If the only comments you are capable of making are attacks on someone's posting name, then maybe you should consider just refraining from posting at all. You don't know me, you know nothing about me. I will thank you to never post to me again!

what's your source on Tancredo
Tancredo himself. He mentioned it in the Congressional Record, September 24, 2002, page H6547.

Gee, President Bush ought to fire all his advisers and hire you.
The President is doing fine on the issue of immigration and Homeland Security. No thanks to his 'old friends' from the anti-immigrant cabal.

This isn't a topic for this thread, granted, but you did ask.
Well, I asked someone to give me the name of one of the 911 hijackers that first entered this country illegally? TICK TOCK TICK TOCK
