I could not find any information on old Sul Ross.
I searched on his name and got the Ross Volunteers, but cant find anything on the old celebration of his birthday at his statue that used to be held

A friend I knew once told me that some guy named Hopwood or Hopegood quietly stopped the celebration and alot of the cadets did not like it but he was kicking people out of the copps so they held their peace.
