It may have been posted before but I hadn't seen it and really enjoyed reading it/

I have never posted a thread, is that what it's called and now probably won't.

I believe many of you who have been on here a long time have little patience with us "newbies".

I check Free Republic several times every day and can't understand why I haven't read it before,

And yes I have sent a donation to Free Republic, on the first day they had their request.

Old timers get really fed up with newbies,because so many of them break all the posting rules...putting idiotic one or two sentences of PERSONAL thoughts vanities up in News/activism;sometimes even in Breaking News.Many are trolls.Others think that news threads are for chat.There are a lot of reasons that newbies are now more suspect and get flamed,than in the past.And NO the real old timers here didn't do such things,when they were newbies.And YES,newbies were in for some ribbing,even when they had made no posting mistakes,when I signed up;it's the way of FR.

Okay...the thread was posted twice before under the headline "Every Care Package Is Important." The first ran on 12/30 with 23 replies. The second ran on 1/2 with 11 replies.

I searched on "tampons" and found nothing. I have a journalism background. I am pragmatic. If I had wanted someone to read my post, and IF IF IF I knew that the original post had that lame headline, I would have posted it as the following:

Every Care Package Is Important (Tampons Come to the Rescue in Iraq...don't worry it's a good story)

Okay???
