"I don't really do things out of kindness. It's a business world and I know it seems harsh but, you know, it is all about the money" Crook said.
Hmm, well I wouldn't question the evil, or just downright snarkyness, human beings are capable of...hearing something like this makes me thinks that has to be a hoax...

Well guess what. Michael Crook is in the middle of building a website to try to ride out his 15 seconds of fame. And from my trace I did...I'm not so sure that ISN'T the correct Michael Crook.
So, I will let my suggestive post stand.

I hope everybody viewed the article that completes the last sentence in the post. It says the the soldier said the photos sent to the TV Station were NOT his. So I don't understand what is going on. Does anyone? If he did offer the wrong photos for $1000.00 is that criminal fraud?

You can just go to his website www.michaelcrook.com. This guy is a human trainwreck. Just a terrible statement about humanities downside possibilities.

I did but until you can say with out any doubt this is the person don't. It gives free republic a bad name. This is different from a professor or a media person these are private citizens. Email the man and state you piece but don't drag free republic into it. There are phone numbers there that you can call use them. BTW the 716 number is upstate New York and the 916 number is California.

This dude needs to die of cancer, or something else that's slow, painfull, and debilitating. Or something really quick and really really painful like ebola.

If this story is true ... it says a lot about our contemporary TV Nation.

I have no problem with the guy trying to sell "tsunamirelief.com" to the highest bidder. But this is despicable.
