Just keep in mind that if the interviewer doesn't suck up to the interviewee, then he doesn't get the good interviews.

Used to be a hugh Hannity fan, but during the campaigns and election, I noticed way too much sucking up to "enemies".

The way he treats John McCain for one thing, makes my want to gag----"my good friend", but he never calls him on his rinoness!!! I could prolly think of a dozen more but, there are too many good threads today that have my attention!!!

Lightweight, pandering, self-promoting "Great American"....Hey Cubby (pet name for Sean), when you following Robin Williams and Al Franken to Iraq...it's for the troops, ya know...

I prefer Michael Medved during that time slot.

Laura Ingraham in the morning.

Hugh Hewitt in the evening.

Hannity gets ratings the old-fashioned way.

Who was lucky/unlucky enough to just have heard the relatively, perhaps temporarily, spineless Sean Hannity suck up to Bob Scheiffer of CBS

You are just NOW realizing that Sean Hannity is just an overpaid fratboy and the single worst interviewer in all of Talk radio/TV? He got where he is by regurgitating cliff-notes conservatism, but now is out of cue cards, so his inner moron is all he has left.

Even on his best day Hannity is little more than a milquetoast repeat of Rush.

Bob Scheiffer and President Bush are longtime buddies, and Bush appointed Scheiffer's brother--a former business partner--ambassador to Australia, so Hannity is partly sucking up to the President when he sucks up to Scheiffer.

I find myself listening to Sean less and less. I like Rush's style better, probably because he doesn't stand on the shoulders of others like Hannity frequently does in my opinion.

What I really don't get is how sometimes Hannity gets all confrontational and other times does a softie on guests, apparently regardless of their affiliation. I think it weakens the show, which may explain why he has less listeners. Like a whole slew of Conservative commentators, he is a man I would really like to listen to, only I get choked up. He isn't as bad as O'Reilly though, who just grates on me.

I like Sean.

I guess there's no accounting for taste.

But for some real talk radio, go to www.warroom.com to the archives.

I think Hannity is good. He just takes way too many callers. The call in portion of the talk shows are almost unbearable. I just cringe as they call in, one after another, making their inane and boring points. The rest are calling and telling Hannity how cool he is. His monologues are good. One of these hosts just needs to ditch the callers and have mostly monologue. Only have callers if they do something for the show besides fill time. I'd probably rather hear commercials than the mundane drivel that most of these callers spew.

Hannity is a part of media, so he isn't going to be too rough on them. Recall any of his interviews with media folk have always been softball.

That's a show on that AM radio band isn't it?
I think it quaint that people still listen to that medium.
I know it's really good for pigfarming reports and such.

Hannity seems to have a chip on his shoulder. He loses his temper and reverts to the proverbial Irish tough guy when he can't keep the debate going, which, unfortunately, is often. He does well on TV because Colmes can be even more obnoxious.
