I am VERY proud to announce that today the Citizens for a Humane Los Angeles endorsed yours truly, Walter Moore, for mayor of L.A.
Today the group held a Mayoral Conference today at which Alarcon, Hertzberg, Parks, Villaraigosa and I each spoke for half an hour and answered questions. Hahn did not show up.
Aptly enough, it was raining cats and dogs.
After hearing our presentations, and discussing the pro's and con's of endorsing various candidates, the group voted to endorse me.
I am honored to receive this endorsement. These are people whose motives are purely altruistic. They save animals not for fame or fortune, but because it's the right thing to do.
I also expect this endorsement will boost my campaign, because it shows -- as did KABC AM 790's poll, or the recent un-televised debate at L.A. Valley College -- that, when I have the opportunity to go head-to-head with my opponents, people wind up supporting me. I hope and expect that, with the help of the thousands of people involved in this group, voters will have the chance to hear not just from the career politicians, but from me, too.
We WILL win. All we have to do is spread the word. Today proves that quite dramatically.
Cordially, Walter Moore L.A.'s Next Mayor www.Mayor4U.com Mayor4U Committee, P.O. Box 45705, L.A. CA 90045
So that can be rephrased as
Citizens for a Humane Los Angeles Endorses Proganda especially anti Bush and anti gun Legislation. Comming up Next, Moores attack on the Healthcare system of the USA.
They're ALL liberal Democrats. Los Angeles as far as political competition is concerned, might as well be the Soviet Union. Its the ultimate one-party town.
Well, there's San Francisco where the 'other' party is the Green Party...
The libs up north think the Democrats are too conservative! (laughing)

Thanks for the post.
I've heard Moore on the radio, and he makes sense.
If I could cast a vote in L.A., he'd have it!
I know several who spend their Friday evenings and Sunday mornings out there supporting the troops, and when they speak well of Moore, well, he'd have my vote if I lived in the city.
Those of us in L.A. know what he's talking about. L.A. is badly in need of street repair. The streets are like bump-o-rama.
Not everything is always about Bush
A real difference between LA and Orange County is the roads. When my friends visit from LA, they almost always metion it.
Tell me about it. The roads in my part of Long Beach are showing their age and potholes are appearing. Its been a long time since we had repaving done here.
That's all nice but I don't think he'll get the job.
Specifically because of:
3. Fight Illegal Immigration
I was reading another post, in another window, and WRONG WAVELENGTH. Sorry.
Note to self: Don't read two articles at the same time.
I promise- From now on it's one article at a time.
*giggles* No problem. Can easily see how the mistake can happen.
