Blackouts are no fun. Many here in CA have backup generators if they have 2 or more a year.

You are lucky they are not going down for a day.

With all these problems, no way there is enough man power to physically repair everything fast.

Highway 138 is near washout near Byron Rd. in the Valley of Enchantment area.

The roof of a strip mall in Big Bear has collapsed.

Fire Station in Crestline is flooded.

Mudslide in has blocked Kuffel Canyon Rd. in the Arrowhead Villas area.

17 inches of rain have fallen from just this storm in the Lake Arrowhead Area.

As of Friday, the lake has risen 7 feet, still 13 feet down. That was before this storm.

"I live in Glenodra. We had some SERIOUS rain early this morning and again just before 10 AM PST. Hadn't seen that much rain in a long time. Light showers at the moment."

Thanks. I assume you haven't washed away.

I just had to do some driving here on the westside, around 1:00, and it was insane! Mar Vista somehow became this mountain and valley to trepidly traverse. LOL. My son and I were sweating. Cra-zy.
