Never a dull moment, eh? All four seasons are rough: fire, flood/slides, quakes, riots.

I used to live in Orange County in the 90s. Do any of the radio stations do internet streaming besides KFI. KFI is sticking to their regular programming. I would like to hear some of the news radio broadcasts. It doesn't look like KFWB does streaming audio.

Holy guacamole!
Debated whether or not to go to church after the big red/yellow cells passed...went for it....yikes! The maps are deceiving. Slight hydroplaning on the freeway near the Santa Clara river (raging muddy rampage) on green satellite cells that felt just as bad as yellow or even red.
Headed back home to find the street lights out, Mc Donald's dark and the power off in our home.

It's the house that collapsed on Laurel Canyon Blvd.. described alternately as Hollywood, "the valley," and Studio City. Wherever it is, a dad and his two kids were rescued.

Fortunately we missed most of the black out, but checked with our neighbors it was out for almost three hours (happy we took a detour to the market before coming home)... cooped up like that with groceries thawing and kids complaining...I would have needed a margarita with my holy quacamole.
