After what may have been a slow down due to nervous exhastion after the November elections, Mark seems to be back in form. Steyn Rules!

"Bush, the World's Biggest Moron, somehow managed to steal another election. That makes three in a row. The GOP's obviously getting better at it."

LOL. This is one of the better ones from Steyn, which makes it magnificent.

I got about half-way through the article when I thought, "This sounds very similar to Steyn", and lo and behold! Another home run by the Steynmeister!

A Democrat chum said to me on Thursday, oh, well, they're just doing this to toss a bone to the base. But they're running out of bones to toss, and the base needs a reality check, not more pandering

Simple, beautiful truth from Mary Steyn.

- For the most part, the press now fulfill the same function for the party that kindly nurses do at the madhouse; if the guy thinks he's Napoleon, just smile affably and ask him how Waterloo's going.-

Great line.

-Or as Republican Congresswoman Deborah Pryce summed up Thursday's Boxer rebellion: ''Their objection is a front for their lack of ideas.''

Now this is a great line, especially since someone in Congress said it.

It's not that Democrats don't count, it's that they CAN'T count.

"Democrats' votes are vanishing because Democrat voters are vanishing because Democrat intellectual energy has all but vanished."

A weekly trip or so to DU easily reinforces that fact! This guy is great. I've not read much of him, but he's bookmarked now. Thanks! :)

What it underscores is that the Democrats are losers.

I always enjoy starting the day by reading something inspiring...

So they were wearing orange, the color of the election protesters in Ukraine.

Yes, but in their case orange signifies criminals!

A fellow once told me that my "right-wing" ideas were too simplistic, and that the world was too complex for such simplicity. I told him that most good ideas were indeed simple, and there is no need or use to weigh down good ideas with a lot of complex and unnecessary clutter.

Here's a "cure" for the lib's malaise, to quote a line from "Animal House": "My advice to you, is to start drinking heavily..."
