Brockway gets prison in weapons conspiracy (Rush Limbaugh cited)

MISSOULA -- A remorseful former Flathead Valley woman tied to the Project 7 paramilitary group will spend 27 months in prison for federal weapons violations. Tracy Brockway, 34, became a key figure in authorities' investigation into the group.

"I just wanted to say how sorry I am. I am sorry I played a role in this conspiracy," Brockway told Chief U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy in Missoula.

In a plea bargain with the federal government, Brockway had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess illegal firearms.

Molloy's sentence of 27 months was the minimum term he could order under sentencing guidelines.

"I don't do that to diminish what I think is the seriousness of the offense," he said. He considered letters on her behalf and no serious crimes in Brockway's past.

Molloy said he has given a lot of thought to the circumstances around Project 7 and other anti-government groups and people who follow "Rush Limbaugh or the radio stations in Kalispell, screaming people" who are anti-government or intolerant, and "how that leads to folks taking a view of government that somehow is so at odds with reality it surprises me.

This judge needs to be removed now. His bias and bigotry are incompatible with a seat on the federal bench.

I'm no Limbaugh fan, but the idea that he or his fans are on the extreme fringe is laughable. This judge cannot be trusted to render a fair decision in any case involving anyone who does not share his politics.

POPPYCOCK!!!

Rush isn't anti-government or intolerant in any way. These people should stop throwing around accusations to make themselves feel better about their activities!

Rush Limbaugh?

Have you noticed the increase in news stories related to the problem with conservative talk radio hosts?

The above story links an anti-gov't group to Rush.

Another story links Armstrong Williams to illegal gov't contracts.

Bill Moyers attacks Sean Hannity for "bias"

Dem Senators writing letters about journalists being bought off even though the journalists are really conservative commentators.

My friends, we have a coordinated attack starting against us.

The Hon. Donald W. Molloy was nominated by Senator Baucus and appointed by President Clinton and approved by the U.S. Senate as an Article III Judge for life.

Need I say more

Wow, this reference the judge made to Rush makes absolutely NO sense to me at all. This judge sounds like a loon.

"My friends, we have a coordinated attack starting against us."

Actually, it started with BJ Klintoon decrying "talk radio" just after the OKC Bombing. This is just another of many newer attacks in the unending wave of BS from the left-wing wacko scum.

FROM THE ARTICLE: "Project 7 was training and conspiring to kill local judges . . ."

This judge has a reality problem indeed if he thinks Rush advocates the murder of judges. What a dope this judge is.

(Maybe he's a target?)

"Rush Limbaugh?"

I wonder if the Judge has ever turned on and listened to Air Amerika Radio?

Well, Judge, maybe they feel that way because of the behavior of the government.
You know, the Government you are a part of.

As a condition of her sentence, Brockway may have no contact with "people with disregard of the United States and the government of the United States," including militia members.

so she can't listen to Rush, or lurk on FR, right.

The reference to radio stations in Kalispell is I guess to two stations that feature talk programs. One has Rush, Hannity, and others, all conservative. The other that was at the heart of the controversy some time ago, actually had Alan Combs on when I last tuned in.

This "Judge" has a problem wth free speech and reality by the sound of things, really scary!
