I read this article twice, and nowhere does it say he was cheered!
Kerry cheered in Baghdad, decries Bush team's 'blunders' Once criticized for war stance, he says force alone won't win - Borzou Daragahi, Chronicle Foreign Service Thursday, January 6, 2005
Baghdad -- Sen. John Kerry, whose seemingly shifting positions on the U.S. war in Iraq plagued him throughout his presidential campaign, came to this war- torn capital Wednesday to see for himself whether the country was moving toward stability or deeper into chaos.
Kerry, who repeatedly charged during the presidential campaign that President Bush had botched the war effort, was greeted warmly by U.S. soldiers in Baghdad.

Nicely done, sir, and thanks for serving.
Check out this SFGate headline. The MSM is such a joke....
More likely jeered.........
When Kerry arrived in Baghdad, he was a little depressed, thinking about his failed presidential ambitions. Then, he made a speech which, in his opinion, was a real barn-burner that really stuck it to that poopy-head George Bush. This made Kerry feel better, even cheerful. When a reporter asked him how he had enjoyed trip, Kerry said "I was cheered in Baghdad."
'Kerry cheered'
But maybe no one else did.
Kerry BARF ping!
Thank you.
Amazing. Someone actually believed they could convince people Kerry could generate passionate cheers among the majority of the military, which is what they hoped to accomplish.

WHO does he think he is???? Hasn't anyone told him he was NOT elected President and nothing he says will be believed whether good or bad? Buffoon alert!
If they love him so much, why didn't they vote for him?
Maybe it was the terrorists in Baghdad that cheered him.
If I haven't already told you,,,, thank you for your service!
Less than 30% of soldiers in Iraq have voted for him. I am sure they can fill a room with these few soldiers that supported him. This not a big deal as the San Francisco newspaper is trying to make it.
Thanks for your service.
Same thing when Klinton came to the UK when I was stationed there back in 1993. They couldn't get any volunteers so they had to order people to the detail!!!
They fired up the flamethrowers?
Just checking in to say I can't read anything that has JFingKerry in it.
I can imagine the soldiers cheering Kerry. Right after he just left.
well thank you....
being a contractor it was a different experience. I met a lot of good people, I discovered FR, and I was able to get totally out of debt for the first time since I have been married....
