Alert: Dems Didn't Learn a Thing. Right Back at Old Their Old Tricks - (Contesting Bush's victory)
CHRONWATCH.COM | JANUARY 6, 2005 | JB WILLIAMS

Friends,

This morning, Congressional Democrats return to their obstructionist habits of wasting American taxpayer resources on grandstanding for their Left-Wingnuts.

California Senator Barabra Boxer (D) is set to object to the Ohio Electoral Votes, on what basis, nobody knows. But the result will be the futile delay of the confirmation process for Bush's 2nd term, returning the Senate to its chamber for a wasted debate on the subject.

Meanwhile, other Democrats prepare their assault on Bush's appointment of Gonzales, intended to replace our nations retiring Attorney General, again, wasting taxpayer resources for partisan political purposes.

I started the New Year with my article Meet Big Brother's BIGGER Brother, an article about you, and me, "we" the people, who are now able to know what kind of crap our elected officials are up to before they even commit their crime, and these are great examples of just such an opportunity.

As indicated in my article, now that we have this information, (thanks to the internet), we have an opportunity to be heard via that same tool.

Take a moment to exercise our new found power by placing a call to the office of Sen. Boxer at (202) 224-3553, demanding that she not waste our tax dollars on such partisan non-sense.

Her e-mail access is linked to her name above if you have trouble with the phone call.

Time to teach her what we taught Arlen Specter not long ago...Others will catch on sooner or later!

Keep the faith and pass the word!

I, for one, am glad they didn't learn anything. Almost guarantees us the White House and the Congress for many terms to come. Thank god the Democrats are so dense.

I swear to God, the best thing that the Republicans have going for them is the Democratic leadership.

Senate voted 74 against 1 for the motion by Boxer.

Who wasn't there and who didn't vote? I think 25 are missing.

If I lived in Ohio I would be livid. First they waste taxpayer money on a recount even though Bush's victory was way out of the margin of error. Then they claim the recount is invalid. Does Boxer realize how totally stupid and foolish she looks?

And where will this get them? Absolutley nowhere! This will only result in further backlash at the polls come 2006. Let's hope it happens with Governor Dino Rossi against Sen. maria cantdoanythingwell from Washington.

This will also help Rossi's PR if the Republicans in Washington State's House of Representatives try to have the election results thrown out. They can say the Dems tried to do the same thing in the Presidential election with a lot less evidence of wrong doing.

I'm sure she's keenly aware that this has no chance of succeeding. I think it's all about "liberal street cred", to appeal to the koolaid drinkers and reassure them that she's 'down with them'.

As Savage says the best she could do if she wasn't in politics would be a bra salesperson in the Bronx.

I have to agree. It puts the dems in the position of basically trying to prevent an entire state from voting, since they dont like the outcome. Not a good thing for them. I guess that's why only Boxer was crazy enough to vote for it!

As usual, the pubbies are on the defense. Doesn't change the socialst votes but it stalls the momentum for the pubbies, which if it's GW amnesty program all the better.

If the Dems had any courage they would have had a Senator up for election in '06 vote for. But instead they have Boxer(just reelected) appease the "black vote" aka "The Jackson Shake Down".

What Cowards.

it is about time the Repubs developed a spine and started acting like the party in power. The Dims have proven time and time again they are not interested in bipartisan ship, what ever in hell that means. Repubs get up on your hind legs and act like leaders.
