The people of the Eastern Ukraine who want nothing to do with the EU do not feel that it is a victory - but they don't count do they? By that reasoning, Kerry should really have won in November because the Blue states preffered him. I guess they don't count either. In the democratic process some people will always be unhappy, but the majority rules!

They DO count. But their candidate lost. If you would have preferred that the West Ukrainians would have been dismissed as unimportant, well, tough luck.
