The "Passion of the Christ", "Therese, The Movie" and now "Uncle Nino". Hollywood continues to promote violence, sex and sheer, nonsensical drivel, to the American public. Let's continue to respond by throwing our support to movies such as these! Uncle Nino will be coming to a movie theater near you, soon. Check local listings.

Hollywood continues to promote violence, sex and sheer, nonsensical drivel, to the American public. Hey, we're not liberal pinko commie pansy-waisted folks here! Let's not knock the violent movies that much. Nothing better than a good blood-letting patriotic war movie here and there!

Sounds like a good movie.

The Therese movie was pathetic. The script was bad, the cenematography was bad, the acting was bad.
In
my opinion it was a movie made for 10 - 12 year old girls. It even seems to have been made by 10 year olds!
When I think of what it could have been like! There was virtually no "teaching" about her Little Way. If someone went in to see the movie wanting to learn just who is this St. Therese, they would have been left very empty.
I know that people liked the movie but when I ask what they liked about it, they hem and haw and can't really say. Just because it is a Catholic movie, it does not mean it is good.
I'd love for someone to tell me what, exactly was good about the movie.

Yes, and remember My Big Fat Greek Wedding? Good films made for a couple million are out grossing some of those couple hundred million dollar dogs that Hollywood is producing. Face it, Hollywood, the supposed center of creativity, has gone stale.
