So Janet Reno can order the cold blooded murder of American citizens but Gonzales can't order the torture of Al Qaeda prisoners? And, btw, the torture I've seen is that was approved is not anything that maims or kills an individual.
testing that
Rats! It's on C-Span1 and I was taping C-Span2. Had to switch it.
Don't assume that the daughter is automatically reflexively liberal..
We know Leaky is not going to vote for Gonzalez...
What a windbag! Get on with the question man. sheesh.
Off topic: 4.4 earthquake in CA.
Like you, I can't imagine what the attraction was and what their future marriage prospects are.
We can't even INSULT them???
I'd forgotten how boring the opening could be.
I hope Alberto had plenty of coffee. Leahy could put him to sleep. Gonzales is quite nice looking.
What was funy, I'm reading the paper, over coffee and a bagel..kind of glancing over the Page 6 gossip items..I read "Alexandra Kerry"..and for a minute I couldn't figure out who she was...
Friend has had interesting discussions with Sen. Leahy. Leahy HATES the Clintons, with a purple passion.
Of course, that hasn't stopped him from defending them.
Each party sets its own rules for its members of committees. The R's set term limits for chairmen. The D's didn't.
Leahy looks like an evil Muppet.
Leahy, we do not want to hear about your immigrant background, or anything else you have to say, for that matter.
Why can't we lay blame for that 4.4 Cal. quake at the feet of Boxer?
Outside of Hollywood, the Senate has the largest concentration of prima donnas in the US.
drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, torture, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, torture, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, drone, torture, drone, drone, drone, drone.
Climbing out on my limb here, with chainsaw attacjed, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Bush has told Gonzales NOt to take any crap fromt he Dems..but to let them have it..quietly, firumly..NOT to let them try and like the administration to torture...BTW..did you read Byron York's column on NRO today..
