I got a ruby red-colored silicone bundt pan for Christmas. My 19-year-old one was losing it's non-stick capability and sometimes my cakes would not come out whole. I baked a Bacardi rum cake in it for a New Years Open House. The cake just slipped out of the pan, clean up was a snap, and it tasted great. No metallic or rubbery taste at all--just chocolate fudge 'n rum. Yum. Yum.

That's the color I got for my sons. Cooking.com had the Kitchen Aid brand on sale. Only the younger son had mentioned it, but I knew they both baked this particular cake, so I got one for each of them. They were very excited!

A variation on the theme... I bought one of these for myself before Christmas. I made some little gingerbread cakes in it.
