A couple of inches of snow falling in Seattle? This entire town will grind to a halt! People around here can't even drive in the rain (which totally boggles my mind), let alone snow!

East Central Indiana has ice, sleet, slick roads; our firm is closing at noon. Snow day!

Last year my wife flew into Seattle because Portland was closed. I think it was this same week! She then rented a car to drive down to Portland for a business meeting and was going down Mt.Raneir(sp?) when absolute morons with no driving brains chain collided into her and tossed her on the black ice into traffic in the opposite direction, where a tanker truck drove overtop of her car.
If it's slippery in the coastal northwest, STAY AWAY!

Nice try. We do ok in the snow, considering that we have real hills here. This ain't Ohio.

Bring it on! I love to see Seattle crippled. The King County bureaucrats can't do their regular mischief. "...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Of course, here in Southern California, the TV weather folks told us it would rain all week. Right at the moment, the sun is shining and it's a gorgeous day here in L.A. Granted, more storms could be a'comin' -- but at least they're not blaming some contrivance like "El Nino" or "La Nina."
