Store says school; county sees adult theater
Montgomery County officials will decide Tuesday if Exotic Illusions can have private booths for video viewing.

Adult bookstore owners say the private video booths they propose for their Plum Creek establishment are educational tools. But county zoning administrator Steve Sandy says the booths constitute a movie theater.
The Montgomery County Board of Zoning Appeals will decide which side is right Tuesday as Exotic Illusions co-owners Ken Holliday and Dan Bickley look to win their first argument with county officials about a month after opening what has been a somewhat controversial store. The store's plans to expand are riding on the board's decision, since movie theaters are not allowed in the general business zone where Exotic Illusions is located.
Holliday and Bickley envisioned having six to eight booths in the back of the store where customers could preview movies behind a closed door for a $3 fee. The store would reimburse customers the $3 if they chose to buy the movie. But Sandy said any business that charges customers to watch videos constitutes a movie theater.

It's still open; I drive by it every day on my way home from work.
Adult entertainment walks fine legal line (4/24/2004)
Maybe it's a mosque.
Wait, wait - lemme guess. "Holy Oil". No, "Our Lady of the Divine Rubdown". Hmmm, better gimme a minute on this one...
;^)
Just have them distribute comic books of tastefully clad bimbos for the children. I'm sure the school board would settle for that kind of "educational tool."
This must be where one goes to worship St. Amber of the Holy G-String.
:)
I'm not sure I want to know what the degrees are that this fine institution of lower education offers.
Shalom.
Will they give out condoms? If they give out condoms the NEA will support them. They should also ensure that at least 1 in every 10 videos viewed contains gay sex. THAT will make it a slam-dunk.
Shalom.

"Our Ladies of Perpetual Orgasm"
Bottom line: It's for prostitution. The porn shops in nearby Greensboro NC were closed down because of prostitution in the booths. That's why they are locked behind a door. It's "plausible deniability" for the owner.
Sex education? They are just jealous because the high school is supposed to be teaching that. We don't need private groups providing educations. </sarc>
The fact they even have to think about it is a reflection of today's very sick PC-wussy society. Porn and children - NO. Porn as education - NO. It's smut, everybody knows it's smut, just say so and move on.
If you count lesbian sex, I'm sure it's a lot more than 1 in 10.
Every porn movie every guy's watched has at least one lesbian scene. And of course its always between two hot women.
I think I met their organ player once....
Gay hookups as well.
Shalom.
