T'S enough to make you feel sorry for Scott Peterson. Al most.Amber Frey, the buck-toothed, baby-voiced massage therapist from Fresno who briefly loved Scott Peterson before she tried nailing him to the wall, will not be ignored.
The woman talented enough to have acquired faith in God, the services of a murderous lover, and a high-powered publisher has added her name to a memoir nearly as slim and shallow as she is.

It's a how-to book for losers.
It's an advice rag for re-covering sluts.
And it's chock-full of sage advice and dating tips.
Amber's Dating Tip No. 1: A Mom has Needs, So Plan Ahead.
Even before Amber met Scott on a blind date, pal Shawn considerately planned to watch Amber's baby daughter overnight.
"Just remember that I have to be at work in the morning!" her friend warned before Amber leaped out the door.

A few hours later, Amber told Scott: "I don't know if I'm ready to be with you." Turns out she was.

Amber writes that on Christmas Eve 2002 — the date cops say Laci was murdered — a devilish Laci visited her bed.
"In the nightmare, a man with brown hair . . . is tick ling [Amber's daughter] Ayiana," she writes.
"Before long, Ayiana was having trouble breathing."
Then "I saw [Laci] . . . and she was laughing hysterically.
" 'Don't laugh!' I yelled at her. 'Can't you see he's smothering her?!' "
It's a nightmare all right — starting when Amber picked up her pen.

I've barely followed this trial but this chick is a trip. She's the equivalent of the OJ jurors who were so eager to sign up with talent agencies. What a despicable skank.
I was in a local pub tonight. The TV was turned to Dateline but the sound was off. No matter. I could see Amber doing a cryathon. I'm sure she will sell a lot of books.
By the way, however sleazy Amber is, remember that Scott Peterson is still an evil double-murdering scumbag.
Had you listened to the interview, rather than assuming that she was being "fake" in her crying, you might understand what type of hell she went thru also!

It was not altruistic. She could easily have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. It would have been Scott's word against hers. Fortunately, for her, he held on to his protestations of innocence, and she was able to get the phone conversations taped.
Altruism is a precious thing, and hard to find.
She's lacking in "Phi".
You have to strike while the iron's hot and the public will soon tire of this Peterson saga. Scandal and sleeze sell and this is Frey's best chance to grab the brass ring before slumping back into dingy obscurity. Her book is definitely not going to be on my reading list, but I can't blame her for trying to turn a buck on this.
She'd be much better paid to focus on how she's victimized herself but I don't see that happening.
And if she hadn't helped the police, she wouldn't have had to put up with all this public ridicule.
And.... a another murderer would be walking the streets free! Too many people would rather turn the other way & not get involved. Thankfully, she got involved!
Actually, the ridicule began with her book.
I too am glad she got involved. However, this is not what this thread is about.

First off yes iam judgemental. Shes making money off something thats horrible.dont waste your time on this book! Shes no christian , shes the mother of 2 illegetimate kids!!Whats that to be proud of. She used afdc and this book to make blood money off her 2 minutes of fame. Shes no christian. What kind of decent girl proclaims to know christ when she slept with scott on the first night she met him! None .yes we make mistakes but this girl aborted 1 pregnancy, had 1 kid out of wedlock ,then another!! And furthermore, wrote a book about it complete with semi nude pictures ,whats that to be proud to write about! Its disgraceful! Shes a disgrace to christianity and should be ashamed to say the word! What will she say one day to her "illegitimate kids when they ask where their fathers are. Get real people who disagree with that fact.shes looking for a man to marry her. We are supporting her 2 "illegimate" kids . Get real people. We dont need anymore like her in this world!we already have enough.she makes me sick!!!!

How could she have a nightmare about Laci before Laci was killed? Frey didn't know Scott Peterson was married until after the murder.
