SMALL GROUP OF HOUSE DEMOCRATS TO CONTEST FORMAL ELECTORAL VOTE COUNT
San Francisco Gate ^ | 1/4/05

(01-04) 16:04 PST WASHINGTON (AP) --

A handful of House Democrats plan a long-shot effort to snarl President Bush's formal re-election by preventing Congress from counting Ohio's pivotal votes when lawmakers tally the electoral vote on Thursday.

No one expects the action to undo Bush's victory. Instead, it seems likely to do little more than call attention to Election Day voting irregularities, a growing frustration for Democrats who blamed similar problems in Florida for Bush's 2000 defeat of Democrat Al Gore.

The DUmmies are trying to get Senators to join up. Looks like Barbara Boxer might do it!

This is good. Soon the whole country will be sick of "The Party of The Petty" and there won't be enough Democrats left in office to populate even a "small group".

These 'few' should be sent to some old-fashioned re-indoctrination camps ala 'Nam-style. They'd be right at home.

Since they consider any vote for Bush to be irregular it can't be hard for them to find evidence.

Probably the same band of fringe nutters as last time. Barbie Boxer may be "considering" going there, but she isn't. She is just throwing a bone to the "base."

Such a bunch of dingalings. If Boxer is so stupid as to attempt a disruption of the process, then what would stop an enraged Senate Republican and several House Republicans from challenging Wisconsin and Pennsylvania?

Someone should hand them signs when they go to the protest or whatever they are planning that says--WE'RE NUMBER 2, WE'RE NUMBER 2!!!!

That is where they will stay, because between this bit of foolishness and the crap the judiciary committee in Senate is already going to pull regarding Bush's nominees, 2002 is gonna look like a tiny blip on the implosion of the Democrat party.

Oh, like the vandalism of Republican vans for the get out the vote effort, for which a number of the spawn of local elected democrats have been charged? Or the fact that the Milwaukee voter rolls weren't purged of people registered in empty lots, none existant addresses and factories and stores? Those kind of voting irregularities that occur over and over in the Rat infested counties of our Republic.
