I don't remember the year. We picked up our ballot from the county clerk and took it with us to a different state. It was to early to vote before we left for the winter so at a certain date we went to a notary and marked our ballot and mailed it back to our county clerk.

John Fund; Handwriting analyst finds 400 Washington ballots written in same handThis reportis is bogus. We (the local Democrat party offices) had more than enough staffers and friends filling out the extra ballots to make sure that the fraud would never be detected. Uuuhhh, never mind.

Maybe because we were allowed to get our ballot early and mail it back from a different state?
I have no idea, we just done what the CC told us to do. I guess I thought that's the way everyone had to vote absentee. ..:)

We had a friend...who would show up at the last minute before the polls closed. She would look at the names and signatures and get a quick tally of voters. Then she would sign the book with her name and the last voter # with the number by her signature...the gals at the voting place demanded to know what she was doing. Her response was that if there where any votes past hers, someone was going to jail.
Ladies And Gentlemen, I think we have a winning strategy here for EVERY precinct in ALL future elections. And use a digital camera to photograph each page of the roster...just for good measure. Unfortunately, this would leave us with a one-party country....Fortunately, it would be the Republicans!

Here in Oregon we do have to sign our ballots.

Here's one to keep an eye on. Not sure if the story's been confirmed yet.

We vote in a small town, every one working the board knows every one voting so little chance for fraud. We sign the book, show registeration card, get a ballot, vote and leave. So simple. We still have the paper ballot and I hope they don't change that.
BTW, this is Missouri.

I have told them that we will require a thumb print and a retinal scan. Retinal! Oh! retinal. I misread that the first time and just about passed out.

Absentee ballots require a signature on the return envelope.
If 400 ballots have different signatures, but the same handwriting style ---VOILA!!

Fund admitted mistakes in judgement (his first was probably ever associating with the mother and her daughter, one apparently more unbalanced than the other ), but, has always denied any type of physical abuse. I have a friend who likes to sleep with crazy women...he says the crazier they are, the better the sex is.

Jimmy Carter might have at least counted a few ballots I just watched the extended version of LOTR: The Return of the King. In one of the added scenes the include a previously skipped character, "The Mouth of Sauron." The way they picture him and his mannerisms are strikingly similar to Jimmy Carter. I loved Aragon's response.
