You're probably right.

You won't get an answer to your question about other non-Christian's any sooner than exnavychick or I will get an answer about how we're not "really" married because we didn't do it in a Church.

I don't think he has an answer;he just wanted to preach and condemn.

He'll NEVER answer that question. LOL

I think we have him on the run.

LOL...our problem was that we lived in barracks before we got married. Therefore, whiskers and toothpaste in the sink, clothes draped all over, and the like were not an issue!

I am a neat nick, so this drove me absolutely batty! Now I just raise an eyebrow, sigh, and throw the stuff in the hamper. He's learned to clean the sink. :) It bothered me a lot though, when I was pg, we had another baby (really, he wasn't a year old until after his brother was born) ,working full-time, same as him, and he wasn't lifting a finger around the house. That caused some pretty heated arguments, let me tell you. It wasn't the mess so much as the lack of support. But, as I said, that's ancient history now, and we straightened it out. He works, I stay home. :)

If you are a Christian you are a sinner in your own mind, divorced or not.

Don't you dare pontificate to me; you're no Christian.

Quite likely. I really dislike kamikaze attacks. If you believe something enough to state it, stay and defend it. If you change your mind, then please be kind enough to admit it.

Wishful thinking.

I think you are right. :) That's okay, because I don't need him to tell me I'm married, and I suspect you don't either. LOL

" Can I hang out with you guys all the time on the holier-than-thou threads?"

The more, the merrier. Make sure you bring your Handsome Devil Belgian Ale.

Tolerance, compassion, and understanding are such wonderful attributes to have; and I am always happy to share what I have with those who are like-minded. I'd even be willing to over seats to those less tolerant than ourselves. After all, forgiveness is the key to true happiness.

And by neat nick, I mean I used to iron my sheets on the bed to make it look nice, even though they were ironed already. LOL

Needless to say, with three kids under five in the house, my standards have fallen somewhat! :)

LOL....my husband's a neat-nick par excellance! I'm just a run of the mill neat-nick.

When we were courting,I would often cook dinner for us and he took the garbage out. When I told my mother that, she later claimed that she KNEW right then that we would get married and so we did. :-)

I don't know about that. I think making divorce more difficult would cause people to consider marriage much more seriously.

Of course there always has been and always will be divorce, but before the advent of No Fault, it wasn't nearly as common.

I did an anti-No Fault Divorce paper in my "Feminist Legal Theory" class in law school. I argued that NFD is actually bad for women. I got a good grade, too! Amazing!

"But how come I get stuck with the aisle seat?!?"

Seat just opened up...placing your name on the chart. Smoking or nonsmoking?

Three kids under 5 and another on the way? It's a wonder you get much of any neat-nick things done! LOL
