President and Mrs. Bush, former Presidents Bush and Clinton visited the embassies of the nations hardest hit by the Asian quake and tsunami: Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand. He asked both (interestingly, Carter didn't make the list) to lead a nationwide charitable fund-raising effort for victims of the Asian tsunamis, through private contributions, non-governmental and international organizations. The White House's Freedom Corps, which helps facilitate volunteer efforts around the country, will assist the two former presidents in soliciting private contributions.
The president hosted a reception for new members elected to Congress and their spouses in the East Room; the swearing-in is tomorrow.

I didn't know where the funds came from. It just blows my mind that people can take such obvious, unfair advantage of their power. But they did it, and all the time.

Clinton doesn't think Bush is dumb. After he met with him the Oval office after Bush finally was elected he told the leaders of the democratic party not to underestimate him or believe he is dumb. He told them if they did Bush would bury them.
I have the sheet music, and one of my goals for 2005 is to learn it! The first part is easy, but it quickly gets hard . . . but what fun if I learn to play it!

I don't believe the adverage person on the street thinks Bush is dumb. After all 62,000,000 average persons on the street voted for him.

The clintoons did indeed think all of our resources were theirs to use. But Americans must have approved. There were no complaints in the MSM, and no one is talking about how the Bush twins somehow managed to take semester breaks without spending a lot of our money.

How many did not vote at all and then you have all those outside the US.
He's always had bags under his eyes. He's lost too much weight. I read where he has gone from 230 pounds down to 190. He weighs 9 pounds less then Dubya and he's a bigger man (only in size)
