W's letter looked to me as if he took extra care (read: time) to form the individual letters so it could be readable.
Thanks for the pictures. George Herbert Bush doesn't look well which makes me sad.
We haven't started. Still in the process of trying to sell our house, which is no fun. Constantly have to keep it spotless, which is a lot of fun with 3 kids! They help, but it's just not the same. My husband is going on his first mission campaign.. I believe I told you he resigned his job as an assistant D.A. and became a Education Minister for our church. Any way he is flying to Belize on Friday and is a little nervous. He is going to love it, but like me he is sheltered and has never really flown before. ( only a small jet his dad's friend owned) We have some missionary friends in India. Luckily they only suffered some minor damages to their homes, but some of their congregation did lose friends and family. Such a tragedy it all has been.
Barely...
It sure made my day. I moved so it had to be forwarded and I only just got it today.
Did you get a Christmas card, too?
I think 41's dis-countenance is tied into the company's he's with, rather than being based on a physical ailment. He really does not thrive around bubba.
This should be a very interesting year for you and your family.
I cannot imagine what life is like for those poor people who lost 40 or 50 family members, not to mention most of the other people in their village.
I would imagine it is hard for him to be around Bubba, especially since Bubba was so disrespectful to him when they were running in 92. He would never address him as President Bush, always Mr. Bush. It would make me so mad! Clinton absolutely has no grace. He reminds me of an uncle that everyone is ashamed of because he comes to the reunions smashed and talking trash, but when the uncle wins the lottery he becomes the favorite of the family. They tolerate him because he's the cash cow.
The Bush family has risen to the cause of easing the suffering of so many people. They are truly a class act and deserving of the respect we have for them.
I think 41's had a problem with one of his eyes. I've never read it anywhere, but I've noticed it in some recent pictures.
Still a strikingly handsome man for an octogenarian, IMO.
Especially when you haven't found the family member yet. That would be the hardest. When the world trade centers were destroyed and now with this, the ones who can't find their loved ones body, pains me. There is no closure for them.
You've got to be joking...wretch!
Interesting 'other' thread, hmm?
It set him apart even more, IMO.
His Dad loves that W is commanding the stage, but the debauched one has to hate it.....
They used military assets that were needed elsewhere. Never coordinated with the military, simply demanded what they wanted without regard for critical military missions.
ex-freepers crawling out of the woodwork on that one, eh?
Clinton looks terrible. Every time I see him he looks more and more like Jimmy Carter.
Thankfully!
I got one too--pretty cool!
