Total Meltdown in King County Voter List
Sound Politics ^ | December 31, 2004 | Stefan Sharkansky

Posted on 01/03/2005 2:48:35 PM PST by swilhelm73

It was last reported that there were 3,539 more ballots counted in King County than voters who cast them. The discrepancy is actually much larger.

The 3,539 is only the net. This comes from having roughly 1,500 more voters than counted ballots in some precincts, and about 5,000 more ballots than known voters in other precincts.

[This picks up where I left off in the post below about Precinct 3301. I can find only 41 precinct changes among counted voters in the Dec. 29 file since the Nov. 1 file and these appear to be provisional voters who corrected their precincts at the polls. Conclusion: in certain precincts there are about 1,500 more known voters who cast ballots that were accepted than there are ballots that were counted in the manual recount].

Bob Williams of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation brought to my attention several sections of the WAC that govern the canvassing boards. As I read the WACs, the King County canvassing board should not have certified its election without getting the count of voters to reconcile with the count of ballots, and that is something that they obviously have not done.

Among these: WAC 434-262-040

Verification of auditor's abstract of votes. The county canvassing board shall examine the auditor's abstract of votes and shall verify that all of the individual precinct and absentee ballot totals have been included in the abstract and that the subtotals and county-wide totals for registered voters and votes cast are an accurate reflection of the sum of those individual precinct and absentee ballot totals. [See the other sections in chapter 434-262 for related rules].

I suspect that the canvassing board simply checked the total number of registered voters on the rolls and not the number of voters who cast ballots. But that would be terribly lame if that's all they think they're required to do.

In any case, I would be very surprised if King County will be able to account for both 1,500 ballotless voters and 5,000 voterless ballots. The few explanations that have been offered, confidential voters and military voters, only account for about 100 and at most 200 voterless ballots respectively.

I really think you must take to the streets! You must protest in the way the citizens of the Ukraine protested their illegal election!

Do you have any protests planned?

Sigh. Still waiting to hear how far the GOP and Rossi campaign are going to take this. The wolves are not only at the door, they're in the hen house. If they get away with it here, no state will be safe.

Sheesh! What is wrong with everyone tonight?

It is NOT apathy. We have tons (and tons, and tons, and tons, and tons) of evidence. Everyday. And everyday, everyone bitches, screams, gets upset, and says something should be done.

The only thing I have seen done is that the GOP has questioned the voting rolls. When will this sham be overturned? Any news on that? When will a Federal judge overrule the corrupt judges in Washington state? Any news on the timeline or court date for that? No? Is there any tangible action the GOP or the media is taking to stop this?

As far as I can tell, the election is certified. Am I wrong? This sucks--and I don't need to read thread 1,041 on more evidence uncovered. I want to know when something is going to done about this.

Gotta agree with that, but it's gonna take overwhelming proof.

From what I can see, it ain't over yet, but this is a nation of laws, and until "proof" can be shown in a court of law and the wheels of justice start to grind....

Doesn't mean we're sitting still for it, many are writing everyone we can, and hopefully we're not sounding like a bunch of "DUmmies" screaming about stolen elections, but are making sound, reasoned arguments to investigate the shenanigans surrounding this BS.

Gregoire will not be coronated until the 12th, we have until the 20th to Contest the election. Would you rather we go about this half-cocked without all of our evidence LOCK TIGHT and overwhelming and incontrovertable? Trust me (I know, you don't know me, but trust me anyways), there are a LOT of VERY powerful people working on this and they are not going to just walk away and say "well, better luck next time". This IS going to come to a head. Stay tuned and stay calm!

I have said for weeks that there are only two choices in this: overwhelming incompetence or blatant fraud and criminality. Take your choice. Either someone gets fired or someone goes to jail.

Take your choice.

There's only those two.

Some good news although from an unexpected source:

KING 5 News (Seattle local TV broadcast news) reported nearly 63% statewide and 59% King County polled want a revote.

This news show went into some detail about the polling sentiments (nothing though about precinct 1823 , 3301 etc.). There was a short quip on lost military votes. The bottom line is the broadcast was pushing for a revote.

We expected a bogus news report about how people want to forget the election and 'move on'.

While listening to the unexpected news report pushing for a revote, my wife said "they must have evidence".

We think the only explanation for a heavily democrat leaning local news broadcast (KING 5 News) to push news that demands a revote is because they have discovered evidence of vote fraud, substantial fraud, enough to compel a court to act.

We're praying for this to be the case.

I would like to posit that mayhaps they see that public opinion is turning strongly against them and their friends the Democrats and they know they better get on with the public and abandon the Dems or else they will go out of business like the newspapers........

Don't normally watch KING, so I missed it....did that lead?

If so, I may stay up a little later to catch that.

Sharkansky deserves a medal.

You got that right. He is doing the job that investigative reporters are supposed to do. It's the kind of work the P-I and the Times should've been proud to do...if they weren't Democrat mouthpieces.

This reminds me of when the bloggers sunk Dan Rather's attempt at fraud.

It's deja vu all over again, ain't it?
