What a bunch of BS. How many people did they actually poll to get the results they wanted?

You may be on to something. A lot of these "a new study says..." stories really say more about the reporter than about the study.

sweetness, loyalty, submissiveness, thoughtfulness, fidelity, or lovingness

Are you talking about a spouse or a Pomeranian?

"There's all kinds of attributes available in women today. Intelligent women who also wear shirts that don't fit. It just depends upon what you're looking for or at."

Agreed and with enthusiasm. I don't have anything against the display of a bit of skin (believe me!) but if that's all a woman has to offer, I'm not interested

Hi Paperdoll, and a very Happy New Year too you and yours!

I meet most of them through either work or volunteering on different projects (hospitals, firehouses, police depts, museums, libraries, etc). I used to work with a bunch of engineers, but most of them are to an@l retentive. I've also met plenty of them on different vacations that I have taken and remained friends with them. My dearest and oldest friends are males who are totally secure in themselves and not at all intimidated by a smart woman, they find it very stimulating instead of having to talk with a "bimbo". I've sat up for hours many a night just talking about any subject that comes up. (hint: a good bottle of wine doesn't hurt either...LOL!)

I also had women in my MBA class with similar results as in your class.

One of the problems with marrying MBA women is that the couple will now have two careers that will pull them in different directions--literally. He gets a job offer in Chicago. He has one in L.A. Now what. :-(

One partner needs to be the dominant breadwinner who will be prepared to subordinate their career if needed. Otherwise the marriage just won't work.

Since the MBA women want to use their skills in the workforce they will tend to discourage a high-powered, high-earner mate. On the other hand they will tend to look down on blue collar types.

I think most MBA students (male and female) recognize that this is just the way it is.

Their attitude is pretty sour, but they look good!

And their looks will be appreciated only by their undertaker. Too bad for them, but that's what you get for living a philosophy based on hatred of the other sex.

You need to be a friend before you can be married. This is a guy who just does not like women, period.

Friendship and shared spiritual beliefs are the basis for many a successful marraige.

Some article that was about men marrying their assistants and not their bosses. It went to the smokey backroom *LOL* so what does that tell you!

Interesting, but then what does this say about the universities? Are the colleges simply places of psychological neutering?

I agree. I scheduled my college courses during the time my children where in school so I could be at home with them. It took a little longer to get my degrees, but it was worth it. My son actually learned Anatomy and Physiology and Criminal Justice because he helped me study.

LOL...now that's a great way to spend time with your kids! My boys are too young for that, but I know we all benefit when they are "helping" me.

Very clever!

docile wife

Your friend should count his blessings he hasn't found one.

A women like that would build up rage over time (a laundry list of complaints) and would explode in a very negative way when he least expected it.

It is far better to hear about the issues while they are still current events. :)

I honestly don't know many men who will actually marry a stupid woman. Date, certainly, but marry? I don't think so.

Oh, I don't know. I've never met a person that wasn't an absolute idiot in some way. My wife and I both have I.Q.s of about 140, but each have a forte' in very different areas.

Oh that's true enough. I don't know anyone who doesn't have a weakness. It just depends on what you define as "stupid" and what your tolerance level for said stupidity is. What bothers one person may not bother someone else.
