Your friend should count his blessings he hasn't found one.
A women like that would build up rage over time (a laundry list of complaints) and would explode in a very negative way when he least expected it.
It is far better to hear about the issues while they are still current events. :)

It is far better to hear about the issues while they are still current events. Come now! Between my mom, my wife, and my two daughters, I KNOW that hearing about issues that are current events does NOT preclude hearing about them when they are ancient history.
Heck, I hear a lot of future issues as well - just so I won't be surprised when they become current!
