What is wrong with John McLaughlin? He just pronounced Hans Blix the most honest person of the year and Tereza the most underrated.

I think John sometimes says things for effect, not because he believes it.

He loathes Bush more than he cares about principles. He really really hates the guy.

Who cares this guy is just an old blowhard. I wouldn't waste time watching his show.

I don't know if anyone knew this, but McLaughlin fired Robert Novak off his show in 1989 because he thought Novak was hogging air time. Novak got even with McLaughlin when he wrote a column about McLaughlin having an affair with a lady who worked as a Production Assistant at his production company (Oliver Productions). This forced McLaughlin to divorce his wife (who at the time was Undersectary of Labor in the George H.W. Bush Administration) and marry the young Production Assistant.
Luckilly, when I got Cable in the Fall of 1998, I quit watching this GAGFEST and watched a show with real political arguments..."Hannity & Colmes!"

McLaughlin's program show has become the political-shout-show equivalent of The Jerry Springer Show. Exactly. Checked it last month for the 1st time in a couple of yrs & unbelievingly it was worse.

Unless he is hiding his own Easter eggs and meeting new people every five minutes, it isn't Alzheimer's.
Sounds more like a very bad case of terminal dumba$$.

I watched him a month ago and thought he was drunk on the air. He mispronounces common words, is illogical, and hardly gets his guests' names right. Tony and Eleanor were carrying him and covering for him, which was pathetic. He has definitely lost his edge, maybe even his mind.

Your picture of Susan Estrogen reminds me of the Muppet Rock Singer from the old Muppet Show.
