I'd say "unbelievable" only it's not unbelieveable at all.

I got dragged to the Che movie (Motorcycle Diaries) Boring commie propaganda... just awful.

The Passion was one of the most powerful movies I have ever seen.

My local leftie-lib paper, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, deleted "The Passion" from its list of Top 10 Films of 2004. "Kinsey" made the list.

Total shunning of "The Passion" by the Hollywood crowd and their followers.

What I find laughable is that this fuss is being made over a Golden Globe.

The Golden Globes are a publicity event - designed to make money - it is not a real "Hollywood" organization. The people who fund it pay to be on it to get their talent shown in the media. The red carpet walkdown has become an essential advertising industry.

What is picked for the Golden Globe is directly linked to how to make money through endorsements.

Lastly, The Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights is itself a scam organization which makes money by stirring up outrage on manufactured issues such as this and then making a fortune in donations.

Hollywood picks Che over Christ

(please hold your fire, OPS4)

"This is news?"

...this was a friendly rhetorical comment, at least for anyone living
(and with some brainwaves) in Southern California or a middling interest in Hollyweird.

And I definitely don't have a problem with the story and it being posted.
My comment was just a bit of jest as the title is simply stating the obvious.

I agree, and Sinclair broadcasting company looks like it may be a friendly host as well.

I question the common sense of any conservative who still gives these stupid award ceremonies any type of credibility by actually watching the garbage.

Mel doesn't have to worry about crappy awards, when his reward is the number of people who went to watch his film. I seriously doubt that crappy communist diaries movie can compare in any way, shape or form to Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ.

Mel, if you're listening, how about a Mad Max 4 for your next movie? I'd love to see another one like The Road Warrior :)

To this day I relish the fact that the first Full Bird Colonel I had as a commander had accompanied (led the SP Teams) Bolivian Forces that took out Che. I know a man who rid the earth of one more piece of pond scum.

Should this really surprise anyone? I hope the left listens to Michael Moore and gets Hollywierd even more involved in politics. Whenever these idiots try to dictate their beliefs to America, it just enrages us even more; and our latest election is proof of that.

You have a mispelling in the headline: Hollywood picks Che over Christ

Should read: Hollywood picks Chia over Christ.

They say the opposite of love is indifference. All I can say is I'm completely indifferent as to what befalls Hollywood anymore -- the people or the industry. If they want to shun a particular movie, or the red states, or anything else they desire, that's fine with me -- the feeling is mutual.

I watched a show on Discovery Travel Channel one time called "On the trail of...", or "In Search of..." The subject was Che. The host of the show was a Brit who obviously admired Che. What I learned from the sow was that Che came from a wealthy family, that he dropped out of medical school, and that his friends called him "stinky" because he never bathed.
