An absolutely wonderful answer to homophobia. Not that homophobia does NOT exist, but that its very rare. The much more common phobia is normalphobia.. Pretty good string of logic here.. It does suit my pre-concieved notions, but that does not mean its wrong.. A good theory on how queer got strange.. or the other way around.. The rebuttal to this short discourse would be laughable to read..

Good post.. and important to keep.. Thanks..

I wonder if US donations will be used to rebuild the brothels and if it will be a hitlary used issue in 2006.

As tragic as the situation is, this needs to be exposed now.

Greek TV mentioned much of the resorts were french owned. Any corroberation?

One thing they try to use as an argument is that animals try to have same-sex sex all the time. I've never seen this. I have seen cows try to mount cows and the same with dogs but anybody that knows animals know that it's a way of showing and establishing dominance and the "pecking order". It's not really about sex. Homosexuals are desperately trying to justify their perverted behavior

True story that just happened today. My wife, daughter and I were driving down a rural road. Out in the yard of a house were two good sized dogs. One of the dogs had mounted the other one and was really going at it. However, upon closer inspection we noticed that the dog was on the wrong end...he was humping the head of the other dog! We were cracking up because it looked so comical...the poor dog underneath probably had quite a headache.

I don't think you can put all "homosexuals" in one category. Some are that way because they "learned it". Some are that way because they are just perverted. Some are that way because they simply cannot help it. Perhaps they didn't have a dad around, or whatever. But not all were "recruited". They would have been homosexual regardless of whether they met a homosexual or not.

He taught me how to play Nintendo so I could keep up with my sons. He fixes my computer.

D00d, what does that have to do with being gay? I do that stuff :-P

Some are that way because they simply cannot help it

That is the only statement that I don't agree with. I'm sure there are several reasons people become homosexual. I only gave the ones I knew about first hand, which didn't put them all in one category. They would have to come up with scientific proof, which they haven't done, to convince me that they can't help it. We all have choices. We have the choice to be celibate. We have the choice to get psychiatric help or help from a pastor if the person is religious. We have the choice to get medical help if it's discovered to be a hormone problem or other physical abnormality. I agree that some are that way because of the way they were raised or treated as a child but they weren't born that way and with help (psychiatric or other) and willpower, they don't have to be that way. It's a choice. Until it's proven otherwise, that is what I have to believe.

Actually, I hope someday they do find a medical reason for the "ones that can't help it", if there is such a thing. If they did, they could cure them or at least control it. Medical science has come a long way with controlling mental problems. People that are bipolar and schizophrenic can live productive lives with the proper medication. I would love to see something like that done to reverse homosexuality but it won't happen as long as it's considered normal.

LOL, that's what I was talking about. Animals do that to establish dominance. The dog on top was probably the "topdog" and the other dog was the "underdog". :-) I crack myself up sometimes. LOL

It's very common in the animal world but really has nothing to do with sex. You won't see two male dogs setting up house together or two roosters building a nest and sitting on eggs.

Well, you seem to think that if it were proven that certain homosexuals couldn't help the fact that they are that way, that it would justify a homosexual lifestyle. That is not the case.

It is true that many cannot control the fact that they are attracted to the same sex, and desire a romantic relationship with the same sex, but they CAN control whether or not they actually pursue that lifestyle. Just as you, as a married person, may not be able to control the fact that you meet someone other than your spouse who you greatly desire, but you can control yourself from seeking a relationship with that person.

Many alcoholics can't help that they are genetically inclined to be alcoholics, but they can control whether or not they drink like one.

Basically what I'm saying is. We cannot control the fact that we are born sinners, and we have, within us, the desire to sin. We can control whether we give in to that desire.

Actually no, I don't think it would justify the lifestyle, no matter what the circumstance. I was referring to your statement that they couldn't help it. When you say that I interpret it to mean they were born that way. Personally, I don't believe that and I don't think they will ever prove that to be the case. But, in the case that you are right and I am wrong and they really can't help it, I hope they can find a medical cure. No way I want the homosexual act and lifestyle to be justified. Sorry if that's how I came across. Even if it was to be found have a genetic or medical cause in a minority of the cases it still would not justify the lifestyle any more than any other genetic vice. It would still be sin and they should be able to control it. There are some mental disabilities that can't be controlled without medication. That's all I was saying.

Other than that, I agree 100% with everything you said. :-)

The only people I believe are BORN homosexual are those that were born with defects. To where they aren't actually say a male attracted to males, but are a male with female hormones that make them feel they are female.

I knew she was desperate and since I didn't have a rooster at the time (flogged my husband one time too many)

Okay...so how does flogging your husband make you dump your roosters?

That rooster hated my husband. When he would go into the barnyard the rooster would be all over him. It never flogged me but it would draw my husband's blood. One day John was waiting on him with the shotgun. The hen became a widow. :-) These chickens were game chickens, not domestic chickens. The rooster was the same kind that people use in cock fights.

I haven't seen any as yet, but I bet the Greeks are right. According to sites I've been checking into, the majority of the pedophiles and pederasts are of Western ethnicity and also Japanese. Of particular note though is that there might be thousands of Western tourists still missing. I wonder how many of them were there for the child sex trade?
