redictions 2005

John LeBoutillier Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004

1) IRAQ: The January 30 elections will happen amid outbreaks of terrorist attacks on polling places. But the real story will be the overt new alliance between the radical Muslims running Iran and the new Shiite majority government that will win the most seats in the Iraqi election.

Iraq will not ask - yet - the Americans to leave; rather they will want the American soldiers to stay and calm down the disgruntled Sunni Muslims after their defeat at the polls. By the end of 2005 over 65% of Americans will judge the war in Iraq as a failed venture. Indeed, we will be ‘bogged’ down as the insurgency increases and more and more American soldiers die.

2) G.W. BUSH: 2005 will see him do well inside DC - and poorly outside. With total GOP control in the Senate and House, he will have no trouble with appointments and confirmations. Social Security Reform will go nowhere.

But Iraq will color Bush’s year. As Iraq goes, so, too, will the President’s fortunes. And as Iraq deteriorates so will Mr. Bush’s standing.

3) ECONOMY: America’s trade imbalance and dollar weakness will continue but the stock market will grow steadily. The economy will grow, too, but not explosively.

4) Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist will die from his thyroid cancer. Justice Antonin Scalia will be elevated to Chief Justice.

5) More and more miracle medical success stories will emerge from experimental stem cell research. Some will come from embryonic stem cells and others from umbilical cord cells. But the rush will be ‘on’ for more research dollars and a furious competition will break out worldwide.

6) Hillary will remain far, far ahead of any competitor for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination. She and Bill will be scouting for a new Perot-type 3rd candidate to suck GOP votes away from the 2008 GOP candidate - just the way Perot did in 1992. (More on this in a future column.)

7) Dick Cheney will start planning his own 2008 presidential campaign. If Jeb Bush runs, Cheney will not; but in case Jeb opts out, Cheney will run - and has a good chance of winning the GOP nomination in a multi-candidate field.

8) Rudy Giuliani will score well in GOP name-recognition polls (that’s all these polls are 3 years before the primaries) for 2008 - but he is totally unacceptable to conservatives. The Bernie Kerik fiasco is but one example of socially-libertine people Rudy hangs with. The GOP Base will never accept Rudy; he is pro-gay rights, pro-choice, three times married, girl-friends all over the place in his past and he lived with two gay guys when wife #2 heaved him out of Gracie Mansion. That ain’t going to fly in the Republican primaries.

9)The New York State GOP will not be able to get anyone worth beans to run against Hillary for her Senate seat in 2006.

10) Author Ed Klein’s new book on Hillary will be a big, big hit.

11) Scandal: the Big Scandal referred to here in the past may or may not blow open this year. It is close - of that I am certain - but, having predicted it in the past - wrongly - I am hesitant to predict that 2005 will finally be The Year it breaks into public view. Let me re-state this: it is a Huge Scandal which reaches deep into our federal government and into both political parties. It is a devastating indictment of our government and many, many current and past big-name politicians including presidents and senators. I am not objective; I hope the truth will come out. So maybe my own bias affects this prediction. Thus I make no prediction. It may happen. Or it may not. Only God knows.

12) Media: Fox News will continue to grow; CNN will decline: MSNBC will wake up and begin a move to the Right; the 3 broadcast networks will continue to decline in news viewership. Rather’s replacement will be a total bore - no matter who they select.

Happy New Year to you all!

Prediction #7 is the Best!

All the current Rinos being considered are only going to lead to a President Hillary and Vice President Obama.

Vice President Cheney despite a few health concerns that can be taken care of with moderan day medicine would be an excellent President.

Cheney/Rumsfeld 2008 is the best ticket since the War on Radical Islam will still be raging and America will want to continue on the road to victory.

My vote is #6. The leftist will use any trick in the book to get her power back. My question is whether she will be reelected Senator of New York in 2006?

1. WORNG. Elections will go better than anyone expects.

2. WRONG. Social Security Reform will happen.

3. WRONG. Dollar will strengthen.

Haven't bothered reading the rest of the non-sense.

I agree with #12. And I love the vagueness of #11. Why can't people just believe Cheney when he says he will not run?

His prediction of Cheney running is so not going to happen.

Agreed about the doubtfulness of #7, I don't see Cheney running for President due to the Haliburton scapegoating and his health problems.

My personal choice is former governor of Colorado Bill Owens with Giuliani as veep. Cheney is getting old, has heart problems and isn't as popular as Dubya in the likability area and I think that presents an Achilles' heel for him. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy but I don't know if the electorate will go for him in '08.

His prediction of Cheney running is so not going to happen.

I can confidently say most of his predictions will not happen.

#11?? Oh please.

You think there are journalists out there who would patiently sit on this story until they have 100% of the facts?

Loony toons...And

Remote viewing Tibetan monks see Extra Terrestrial powers saving the World from destroying itself in 2012

N.K. Subramanium, Special Correspondent
December 26, 2004

Remote viewing is nothing new in Tibetan monasteries. For thousands of years remote viewing in the middle of other spiritual activities have dominated Tibetan culture. What some Indian tourists came to learn from a few Tibetan monasteries under the current Chinese rule is extremely alarming and fascinating.

According to these tourists remote viewers are seeing world powers in the course of self-destruction. They also see that the world will not be destroyed. Between now and 2012 the world super powers will continue to engage in regional wars. Terrorism and covert war will be the main problem. In world politics something will happen in and around 2010. At that time the world powers will threaten to destroy each other.

Between 2010 and 2012, the whole world will get polarized and prepare for the ultimate dooms day. Heavy political maneuvers and negotiations will take place with little progress.

In 2012, the world will start plunging into a total destructive nuclear war.

And at that time something remarkable will happen, says, Buddhist monk of Tibet. Supernatural divine powers will intervene. The destiny of the world is not to self-destruct at this time.

Scientific interpretation of the monks’ statements makes it evident that the Extra Terrestrial powers are watching us every step of the way. They will intervene in 2012 and save the world from self-destruction.

When asked about recent UFO sightings in India and China, the monks smiled and said the divine powers are watching us all. Mankind cannot and will not be allowed to alter the future to that great extent.

Every human being though their current acts in life called “Karma” can alter the future lives to some extent, but changing the destiny in that large extent will not be allowed to that great an extent.

Monks also mentioned that beyond 2012 our current civilization would understand that the final frontier of science and technology is in area of spirituality and not material physics and chemistry. Beyond 2012, out technologies will take a different direction. People will learn the essence of spirituality, the relation between body and the soul, the reincarnation and the fact we are connected with each other are all part of “God”.

In India and China UFO sightings have increased in many folds. Many say the Chinese and Indian Governments are being contacted by the Extra Terrestrials.

In recent days most UFO activities have been seen in those countries who have indigenously developed Nuke capabilities.

When asked if these extra-terrestrials will show up in reality in 2012, the answers remote viewers are giving is: they will reveal themselves in such a way that none of us scared. They will reveal themselves only if they have to. As our science and technology progresses, we are destined to see them and interact with them any way.

According to the remote viewers, our earth is blessed and is being saved continuously from all kinds of hazards all the time that we are not even aware of. As our technologies progress we will realize how external forces saved us.

#11 - What's that about?

I don't have a clue, and neither does the author. But he learned from Nostradamus that anyone can be a prophet if they speak vaguely enough.

4) Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist will die from his thyroid cancer.

Anyone who would publish this as a New years prodiction is a complete ass. And John Leboutillear has proved over and over again that he is a complete ass. His number 11 has been pushed by him for 3-4 years now. And as for his take on Scoial Security Reform...Wrong! The President will reform S.S. and he'll do it his way. He's won every big fight he taken on and he keeps confounding the fools and jackals that bet against him.

I disagree with most except maybe a slight possibility of number six. If it was some one it would be Alan Keyes because in 2000 he told Bush he'd run in a third party if Bush chose a pro-choice VP candidate. But he'll be like Buchanan in 2000 he won't go anywhere because of the senate race and cheney's daughter.

The source for the VP thing's at http://www.politics1.com/keyes.htm

The supposed scandal is that the CIA has been running itself almost as a parallel government, spying on Presidents, White House staff, cabinet members - seriously undermining the integrity of the executive branch and subsiding on its own agenda apart from the Commander-in-Chief. Of course this would be the height of criminal abuse of power, since the CIA is forbidden from operating in the U.S., except in recruiting efforts.

A lot of tin foil peddlers will crawl out of the woodwork, and some will think there is credenece to the lunatics who still insist the CIA was in on 9/11, etc.
