"This is exactly the kind of issue that I think can be brought up in the contested-election statutes," Reed said.
But why did he certify the election if the numbers are in doubt?
"What I signed was a certification for the numbers that were submitted to us by the counties," he said. "I am not in a judicial or an investigative role here."
The latest questions about King County came after the elections office released on Wednesday a list of all registered voters in the county, broken down by those who voted and those who didn't. The Republican Party, among other groups, had requested the information as part of its investigation of voting irregularities.
Conservative blogger Stefan Sharkansky pointed out the discrepancy Wednesday, and by yesterday it was Topic A among Rossi backers and Republican Party officials.
Party Chairman Chris Vance said it could be the "smoking gun" needed to overturn the election.
The number of King County ballots counted in the final tally was 899,199 3,539 more than the number of participating voters reported in the county's list

I hope the state has a recall/impeachment provision. She campaigned like a crook. Bet she governs like one, too.

3,500 more votes than registered voters, assuming 100% of registered voters actually voted. Since it is certain that fewer than 100% of registered voters actually voted, it is reasonable to think that tens of thousands of fake votes may have been manufactured. How else can it be explained?

To hell with overturning the election , Gregoire and her consorts need to go to jail.

"Over 300 of these alleged voters give 500 4th Ave. (with or without the Elections office room number) as both their residence and mailing addresses. "moving total after the certification"
And some will need to move fast to observe how these numbers are being reconciled.
I will bet with certainty that as I type on this keyboard that someone else is reconciling these lists and that they are doing it to cover a criminal fraud.
The lawyers for the Rossi campaign need to file for an ex parte motion for a court master to seize and hold election records pending an official investigation.
And they must be damned quick about it.
They must also quickly identify King County workers that are involved in the maintenance of these lists and prepare legal depositions for these workers.
Rossi lawyers need to move fast.

"Reed, a Republican, said the election was fair. He said there were serious errors during the initial count and two recounts, but that the system worked well and those problems were fixed. "I do not feel that this is a botched election," he saidIf that's your response Reed all I have to say is you better update your resume. Your main task is to see to fair elections. If this is the best you can do, I want you OUT.

I'm sure you're right. I also hope that Rossi's people move quickly.
To: Klickitat
Rossi said his campaign asked for the list almost a month ago and the county had plenty of time to update its records. "You shouldn't be able to certify an election with 3,500 mystery votes," he said.

(b) Illegal votes do not include votes cast by improperly registered voters who were not properly challenged under RCW 29A.08.810 and 29A.08.820.
Is this for real?
So voters that are not properly registered and are not properly 'challenged' are not considered illegal voters?
Maybe there is a good legal basis for such rules but I can see none.
This may yet be another case of RCW statutes that are written by liberals to protect themselves and their power.

Some people really want to believe a lie rather than admit that they may have the wrong idea. It's all about hatred. I lost someone I considered a good friend because of Bush winning the election. He was sending me political e-mails as long as he thought Kerry was going to win. When Kerry lost, he asked me not to e-mail him anymore because he had no time to answer them. In 4 yrs I sent this man maybe 6 e-mails which was not political. I still see him but it is different. It's all about them.

Classic democrat fraud. Drag a wino in of the streets and buy a vote for a carton of cigarettes. And if you can do it once, give him a different name and do it again. Classic reason Alabama requires photo ID when registering and a photo ID if casting a provisional ballot. So were each of these "homelsee" photo ID'd when they were registered at an office address?

I had the same situation. My best man from my wedding. I live in Tx. and he lives in Wa. I talked to this guy 3 or 4 times a month, even convinced him to vote for the first time ever. I found out a couple of weeks before the election he was backing Kerry. The guy mocked me over the phone and I had not heard from him since that day, until I called him to wish him a Merry Christmas. I won't call again, I just consider him a lost friend, but I have many, he does not.

hundreds listing the same apartment number (which was an office in the building I had heard on Fox there were 500 voters with the same address which was a gov't office building. When asked to explain, this was the homeless voters.

Yes I heard that being discussed on the radio last night. Simply amazing...just simply amazing...they CERTAINLY don't want to count the oversea votes from our military men and women overseas but knock themselves out to count the vote of a "phantom" homeless person...this is BEYOND an insult to law abiding American citizens.
