Don't give to RED CROSS. 80% of the money goes to administration. Less than 20% goes to relief.

When you make a serious accusation like that, be prepared to substantiate it.

What's yout source? Provide a link please.

All you have to do is look at their annual report

O'reilly did a HUGE exposé on where the millions Americans donated to the victims of 9/11/01 really went. It was the only piece of good journalism the man ever did and his facts were confirmed and reported on by the likes of MSNBC, CNN and maybe even CBS (I don't know because I never watch it)

Go ask O'Reilly. Better yet, watch any of his shows where he had on the Red Cross during his expose regarding their withholding of vasts amounts of donation moneys. You'll see, they didn't deny doing so. They did, however, attempt to weasel out of the accusations.

I also suggest you go read up on the Red Cross and do as sonserae suggests.......read their FINANCIALS.

IIRC, the chapter of Red Cross mentioned above got a bit of coverage nationally.
It was such a mess/scandal that they eventually had to bring a Marine Corps officer
(General, IIRC) on board to gain at least a veneer of respectability.

Red Cross...if they aren't watched like hawks...no telling where the $$$ goes.
I think that at the time of the San Diego mess, the head officer was making
at least $100K/year or more; fiddling while rural San Diego burned.
But that's true of way too many charities.
